Brian Clarke Scenery - RAF Greenham Common

Post by delbydoo »

Back into the swing of things again, and Brian has reproduced RAF Greenham Common as it was during the 1980s.....when "those women" were in full swing, although you will be pleased to hear, that the Berkshire Constabulary has this time been successful in removing the whole bloody lot of 'em!

Quick link here, and it is beeing uploaded to Avsim as I speak.

I have also done a quick set of flightplans utilising Mark Walsh's C-5, C141 and C-130 visitor repaints, which helps fill the place out a bit.

Enjoy and thanks Brian :D

Thanks Daryl and Brian, another USAFE base to play with :D .

Thank you Mark too for the re-paints, the English countryside can reverberate to the sound of C-141's again :D :D

Lovely stuff guys.
Of course it also means that old IAT's can be recreated there as well.

Couldn't have put it better Steve the skies the limit as you rightly say.

Its set up to take the big transports but a little tinkering will add what you want.

Tried a slightly different tack with taxing and ramp parking on this project. ADE had some limitations but I hope I have cracked the way they park on the ramp and taxi out the correct way.

Quite a bit of plumbing but the results were well worth it and more realistic.

Massive thank you to Mark Walsh who sent me his paints of the C5's, C141's and C130's some time back and just seem to fit in so well.

Stewart Pearson for his terrific Apron night lighting effects.

Also cannot forget Daryl Payne, who as always does his voodoo so well with taking his pictures and uploading the files.

Massive thank you guys

Brian
