Belgium has ordered for the sibstitution of their F-16, 34x F-35A jets.
Belgium decided against Dassault Rafale and Eurofighter.

According to belgian Ministers Council, Belgium will order 11 more F-35A for his Belgian Air & Space Force.
NATO ask Belgium order 21 more F-35A, but there are some opposition in Government. So, a solution was find for 11 more aircrafts.
These F-35A will be produced in Italy. 8 F-35 are already in service with Belgian A&S Force at Luke AFB. A ninth is in production in the USA. The 25 following will be produced in Italy
