Did you completely remove the old version??

If not, I would go back and delte all Elmendorf things and try re-installing.

Well, assuming you installed MSFS into the default it would be:

My Computer >> C:/ >> Program Files >> Microsoft Games >> Flight Simulator 9

And within that main FS folder you want to delete what I put in red from the following subfolders:

Addon Scenery >> MAIW Elmendorf AFB (PAED)

Aircraft >> MAIW_NBAI_Boeing_F22 Elmendorf AFB

Aircraft >> MAIW_NBAI_Boeing_F15D Elmendorf AFB

Aircraft >> MAIW_NBAI_Boeing_F15C Elmendorf AFB

Aircraft >> MAIW_PAI_C17_RPP_Elmendorf AFB_Para

Aircraft >> MAIW_PAI_C17_RPP_Elmendorf AFB

Scenery >> World >> Scenery >> Traffic_MAIW_Elmendorf

I BELIEVE that's it for the Elmendorf files. Also, this is assuming you are running FS2004 and not FSX. If you are running FSX then someone else will have to help you out.

EDIT: I just saw that you're running FSX. I'm not really sure if the file structure is different from FS9, but essentially you want to search for the files in red I listed above.

If I remember right the aircraft should be in a folder labeled SimObjects

The path should be something like this;
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes

Hope this helps.

OK Thanks Mr Bean. Allow me to ask a question, approximately how many AC show I see on the tarmac? I see 4 F-15's, 2 C-17's and a pair of F-22's. Is this correct?

Hey mate. That's my package. Check your traffic slider...there's probably 30 or 40 aircraft on the tarmac at any one time.

Hi Danny,

Hmmm, something is wrong somewhere.....
I'm running FS10 with Acceleration.

Here is what I did:

1) uninstalled the old version of Elmendorf.
2) Ran the installer
3) Copied the files to appropiate folders in FS10

Q? Should the install be pointing at C:\program files? or should it point specifically at the FS10 folder?

Well the installer should point to the FS9 installation directory, so the FS10 directory is where they need to be copied.

As you are installing the package manually you can point it anywhere you like.
