AFX

Post by KevinJarvis »

The other thread regarding the use of AFX has got me to look into using it again. While I'm a staunch AFCAD user the fact is that program is getting old.

The main reason I disliked AFX at first what that when I opened an AFCAD created file I couldn't see any taxi-way, runway links.

Is this just how it is until I convert it to AFX?

Thanks.

You can see them. I don't have the program installed anymore but you can see those :) A setting perhaps?

I've looked at every setting I can find. I still don't see the links between any of the nodes. Unless it's the same color as the background..hmmm...better take a look at that.

I have never had that problem with the links themselves, Kev.
Maybe the install got corrupted?

The only real bugbear is the scrolling around an afcad when you are not pointing to N. Its a right pain. However, I do miss the aircraft editor.

You are right, Steve. That aircraft editor is missed. I wonder if....is it ADE (?) will have one?

After reading this thread, I opened up a few AF2's with AFX and could see all the links. The VIEW drop down menu does have selections for showing links, etc. I have ver. 1.06
