There are some ww2 era packages on avsim and flightsim - just search for them. There aren't any from MAIW or WOAI though (unless one has been released in the last 5 minutes!)

EDIT-Oh and most of the packages are quite basic and meant for Fs2004, so some work more than others-I know, I've tried most of them. You certainly won't find any on the same scale as MAIW or WOAI-they are mostly just bases with a little ai put in for good measure.

Tazz,
Part of the problem is that there aren't many true AI aircraft of WWII vintage. However we know a man who is doing at least one, although its not a fighter.

I've used some CFS2 and FS2000 models as AI in writing some small WW2 AI flights for some friends.
The older models seem to work decently since they are not as detailed as newer models are.
Problem is, some look good and some of them look like crap. You just have to install them and take a look.

HERE YA GO

It's the entire packet (AI's/Scenery). I also made some screenshots so you'll have an idea of what this scenery is all about. Here's a list of the AI's included:

- F4F-4 Wildcat repainted by Bill Baldwin
- SBD-3 Dauntless repainted by Rick Spork
- TBF-2 Avenger repainted by Evan G. Butterbrodt
- PBY-5 Catalina model by Mike Stone with Repaint by Henry William
- B-17 Flying Fortress (default)
- B-25 Mitchell (default)
