Royal Navy Jetstreams retire

Post by CelticWarrior »

The Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm's Jetstream T2s and T3s were retired from service on March 11.

They have been replaced by four Beechcraft King Air 350ER 'Avengers' (Z500-ZZ503).

Mike, this one has been on the cards for some time. They've given 30 years service, so it's not a bad run :-)

Although replacing 16 Jetsream T2s and 4 T3s with 4 King Airs tells a story in itself.

LOL! Yep. Heck, just replacing Garrets with PT6's is a major leap forward!
