Sorry for the FSX question its just this package is a must have!

I'm just thinking, is Coningsby one of the ones with multiple afcads for the same base? I know it sounds like a silly question but have you deleted some of those? The package should work fine-I'm running it on my FSX without a problem.
Hope this helps

EDIT-am I right in thinking that there is a coningsby "do not land here" afcad or am I losing my mind? Lond time since I've been there.

Ive put:

The MAIW RAF CONINGSBY folder in the Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery Folder , then activated it.

Put the scenery folder in Flight Simulator x/Addon Scenery/Scenery

I remember it working before just dont know what ive done wrong!

FSX uses a different method of calculating the required parking spot size than FS9. It maybe that the spots are two small for the aircraft.

As an experiment have a look and see what size they are that the Tiffs actually appear in. Martin has released a tool which shows what size the mdl needs.
Then you can decide whether to decrease the mdl size, to fit the parking spots or increase the size of the parking spots for the aircraft to fit into.

I would suggest just changing a couple of parking spots initially, to save time and energy in proving thhat it works.

Ok,

Tried that but nothing,

Then i loaded a flight on friday and had one F-15 on the apron then again changed to a sunday and had 2 typhoons and a Marham tornado,

So my guess is its not the AFCAD but somthing to do with the aircraft/flightplan?

Still missing the FJWOEU (even though the cottesmore and wittering harriers are working fine) and alot of typhoons?

I appreciate the help so far guys especially the fast replies so thanks and sorry to be a pain!

Well in that case it sounds like you have an FS9 flightplan in he mix somewhere, and it may very well be Mike's Jaguar flypast.

Have you checked that?

Nope there both converted,

however i did find a OETB that hadnt so ive converted that,

and moved the 2 Jag Flightplans into the main CBY addon scenery folder,

What should i do with the EGXC flightplan?

Leave it in - FlightSimulatorX/Scenery/World/Scenery

or

Move it to - FlightSimulatorx/AddonScenery/MAIW Raf Coningsby/Scenery

Thanks!

I've just got this conningsby item & ran the installer but can't find anything in my FS9. Do I have to install to a folder & do it manually?
Thanks.

Welcome to the boards Gypsymoth,

Can I first ask you if you have activated the scenery, from the settings option on the main FS start page?

Hello. I can't see anything to activate & when I run my default flight it gets to 'loading scenery' & crashes, which is new.
I've tried 5 times & it won't run.

You want feedback about the installer but I can't find the place for it so I'll put it here - move it if you want to.

I got the Conningsby package yesterday (FS9/Vista64) & used the installer. Nothing however went into the Addon folder & Aircraft, etc. I don't know where the stuff went & Searching hasn't found it either. Now my FS9 gets to 'loading scenery' & crashes & will not run. I've tried 10 times to use it but it just crashes. How do I find this package so I can remove it as it's messed up my FS9 which is now un-useable.

I've done a search of FS9 but nothing comes up.

I didn't know we wanted feedback on the installer but thanks, I think.

That installer is little more than a glorified zip/unzipper. It makes no real change to your FS9. It only places files in your FS9 directory. Did you activate the scenery? I believe there is an uninstaller as well. Did you try doing that? You're right...this doesn't belong here.

Somewhere I read you wanted feedback on the installer. It didn't install into FS9 that a search will reveal.
There is no Coningsby in my FS9 Addon scenery, no aircraft, no effects, or anything else, yet the install path clearly showed my FS9 but it's not there. It still won't load 7 FS9 is un-useable......

I'm stunned as this is the first time anything has mucked up my FS9. I don't know what to do now....

Try searching your hard drive for the files....There really shouldn't be anything in the package that would harm your PC, as you know we run a very stringent testing process here, but we have no way of knowing what effect anything you already have on your system will impact on what we have supplied you. Every system setup in different.

I have an idea  .
Is your FS9 installed on your C: drive? If not that could be the problem, as I remember some early versions assumed that it was on the C: drive.
Try starting the installer again and see where it tries to put the files.
