Great paints, I noticed the VMA-214 bird on Fencecheck and it's a "B+", will the texture work on that model as well?

Here is VMA-131...it is painted on the razbam(not AI aircraft) as i like accuracy. I did not paint the CAG and the basepaint of the low viz is credited to the author. I just updated all of the modexs. 16 in all including (which i did paint) the TA-4J

God I wish that somebody had the time and patience to modify Nick's model into the Skyhawk II. I have this almost unnatural fascination with the OA-4M.

question..why is it that when i use recorder for nicks aircraft i have issues with their canopies being up while flying? it only happens with nicks aircraft. I put the lights on like you are supposed to. Any ideas? Hartwig?

Aaron it depends on which model you are talking about and what parameter that Nick chose to use to trigger the canopy open/closed. The trend lately in our models has been to use either the beacon light or the first forward movement of the aircraft to trigger the canopy closing animation sequence. This is all XML based animation coding so I'm not sure how it would turn out in FS Recorder.

In Recorder I know you can record the nav lights, not sure about the beacon light. On some of his models he uses a delayed canopy closing sequence (Mirage F1) that needs the strobe lights to be on to trigger the final closing animation. So in some cases, Recorder would need to record the nav, beacon and strobe lights to make the AI model's animation correct.

Hope that helps.

I also noticed the open canopies (or ground support equipment) showing up during flight. When I recorded the FSRecorder track I switched on the light using the L key which activates all light effects I think.
The FSRecorder track in txt format shows a maximum of 4 entries in the light column. So this could be nav, beacon, strobe lights and maybe landing or taxi or cockpit light?

By the way, nice repaints.
I also had VF-103's F-14Bs on my want-to-do list. So this means I have more time for the older retro stuff :D
