Guys can I have someone post in this thread several high quality images of the AN-2 variants, doesn't matter which ones, any will do. The ones already in this thread are not the correct size even with cropping, to make use of. I would like to add an image of this model into our rotator for the front page and I can't take high quality shots from my laptop so I need a bit of help.

Thanks in advance.

Sure Mike,
just remind me what is correct size?

Oh and should they cover just military paints (there are just two of them now: Polish AF and Romanian AF) or may they be civilian as well (I can throw in Aeroflot as those guys flied military missions in those liveries, without any problem  ) ?

... and here you can find a flood of Czech RWAI An-2 repaints by Miloslav Wolf:

Ten of them so far 8)
I'll try to RPP_FPGen some flightplans for them, in a spare (?) time.

Is there any list of active An-2's flying around in (western) Europe? Including Russia would be even better, but I think that's undoable...
Such a list would be great for making flightplans and repaints. :P

There is such a list for military An-2s (there is less and less of them in military usage though ...).
Other best source (for civilian usage GA) is Airliners.net photos ...

Here is a Massive An-2 Attack by
Nikolai INS (based on his paintkit, based on Mike Pearson paintkit)
- I just could not resist to re-post all INS pics here:

Rysiek, some of the An-2 models appear to have a parking radius of 26m. this is enough room for a Tu-204? :D

Not some ... all of them ...
It was decided to make such a big radius to have them properly taxi one after another.
You can change the model radius using AFCAD2 utility but it's up to a package designer.

That is reasonable, Rysiek, I just wanted to know why. :P

Rysiek, the airfield looks nice but some of the buildings stay white, can you tell what texture files you used
second; when the aircraft taxi to the runway and hold short they stack on one another instead of keeping distance, any idea how to solve that ?

Sorry, I can't help you too much with white buildings as I used some EZ-Scenery libraries and it is very hard to tell which ones.
Try to download any big EZ-Scenery library pack, maybe you'll be lucky.

Stacked An-2's is a bigger problem (does it happen only at EPKE?). I suspect that it has something to do with FDE and 'Magic' Mike tried to cure that, one of the probes was setting An-2 AFCAD radius up to 26m but this does not help in every case.
Do you use MRAI TVB to watch them? It does may have side effects as well.
But I'm not too good in AFCADing, maybe any guru can answer better ...

PS.
What I do can say is that stuff accompanying An-2 model set is a kind of "preview" (do you remember FSX "DX10 preview"?), so scenery and AFCAD was not too much tested by different users.
Let's hope a MAIW package containing An-2 will pop up in some time and this one will guarantee you that everything will fit together.

well i have "collected" several libaries in the years haven't found the right one i guess
about stacking of the aircraft, i just installed the included EPKE scenery and watched the planes do there bit and noticed they didn't keep there spacing, maybe someone has a clue how to solve this......
Thanks anyhow for this great plane....it's a pleasure to fly so slow :D
