I wasn't sure whether to put this in the F-15 thread or the "Top Gun" thread... :)

Guys,

To let you know the F-15E Strike Eagle has been posted up onto the ftp site, under the sharing directory, for those of you who are planning packages with these aircraft to get a head start. These arent to be released to anyone other than MAIW members until after the current Lakenheath package is released.
Those who require it get it now, The model includes 15 loadouts, with a guide to what is what on the readme. Also a paintkit is included.

Hope you all enjoy.

Noob question. The font is AmarilloUSAF....what are the font and pixel sizes of the lettering on the tail?

Released?

I'm a little confused... is the F-15 C/C released yet? Can't seem to find it, but there are several repaints being posted for it though, by Mark Walsh, so?

Thanks

Sorry, Dan, but a slight correction is needed. Avsim have blocked the upload for some unknown reason, but it is available on flightsim.com .

OK Version 2 of the F-15E is up on the ftp site now. It had the fixed rear end exhaust mapping. It also has a recompiled weapons texture that should avoid the jittering that some have experienced.

Yep its superb Nick. I've PM'd you as well.

Thanks to my mate who scanned the Eagle's head from a book on the F-15. Otherwise I would have been stuffed!

Cheers

it'll be out WELL before then unless something really major is spotted. Also we've got another package package featuring the E which is almost ready for beta as well and will follow Lakenheath
