If anybody thinks I'm not using MM's FDE for this beast.......... of course, I am...... I did give him some more serials to beta-test with, since it is silly to see two of the same named aircraft flying around in formation, lol. I did have a working FDE in play that I wrote, but as MM pointed out, turboprops are harder, this was my first turboprop FDE, and the aircraft is so darn big. So, no ego here, I am always glad for the learning experience. Unfortunately, it forces me to go back and tackle that last bit of modeling, the recessed bays (gotta do it sometime). I might do something a little different and release the most current versions first, since they are pretty much done except for ordnance and serial paints. I'l have to gather up the Tu-142s for a family preview screenshot as well, like I did for the Tu-95.

Great stuff! The 142 is my favorite variant. It will see much time in my FS world.

As you all know the unfortunate situation in FS9 is that all turboprops use the same AI turboprop sound file, so as far as I know there is no way to duplicate the loudness of the MPAI Bear turboprops in FS9 without causing all of the different FS9 turboprop aircraft to sound just as loud.
In FSX one can use unique sound files for individual AI aircraft and there is at least one set of sound files available with the flyable Samdim Design Tu-95/Tu-142, but I haven't had a chance to try them yet with the MPAI Tu-95MS in FSX.

Here's a pre-release test at Engels-2, a mix of Tu-95MS-6 and Tu-95MS-16. The MS-6 only has the internal rotary launcher for the Kh-55 ALCM, and the MS-16 adds the ten extra Kh-55s under the wings. Also, there is a mix of old metal and the newer grey paint with the RF serial numbering. BTW, I have Mike Mac's FDE in play, so the first part release will be probably this weekend.

Sounds like I picked a good time to re-do my Engels based Bear plans
It was needed though, as I wasn't really satisfied with my first output. Especially as I had entirely neglected to send them to places where the Kh-55 might actually be used

With the new plans I'm currently typing in, they'll also visit places like Mulino and Novaya Zemlya, not to mention give a buzz over the Black Sea

I'm no great screenshot artist like Martin, but I do get a decent one from time to time. This is a Tu-142MR Bear-J lifting off from Saratov/Engels-2 at the crack of dawn...... This is final in-sim checking BTW, these are going to be uploaded within a couple of hours to the usual suspects.

Everything is at both of the AVSIMs, so, whenever the library updates.......

.... the Tu-95 is in three parts, and the Tu-142 is a separate package. Now, it's four new models in two months, I think I have set a good pace for the year....

Plans + waypoints for Long Range Aviation Command
and
Plans, waypoints & scenery for INAS312.
No voicepacks included as it's way too late to go exporting them all from EditVoicePack (should've been in bed 2 hours ago, but then I saw Mike's release post, so wanted to at least get the plans out of the door). I'll update it tomorrow with the missing bits and pieces.

Ok, I effed up my timings
Here's the full INAS 312 package with an voicepacks, an updated VOAR ADE, and fixed flightplan timings. I'll upload it to the two Avsims on monday unless someone spot some grave errors.
Updates to the Russian bears will follow later today (it's less depressing doing those updates than watching Australia hammer South Africa

).
