Have you really done the Gannet?!?!?Weescotty wrote:I know I have a shit load of models at various stages.
Every time I take a break I always start by doing a test model ,
Just to be sure I still have my eye in.
Few (don't ask if they will ever be finished. I don't know) for example -
SR-71, Gannet (3 view issues), Vulcan, EE Lightning (gear into wing issues, skinny wings), AH1 Cobra (animation probs), X-29 (gear animation issues), X-38, PBY, and the list goes on.
Most are on the shelf because of problems, others because they were just test models.
Re: What's Left?
Started and done are two different stages.

Re: What's Left?
I can actually see some similarity to the real one, but I got a laugh out of it too. It's a start to one of the most prolific helicopters throughout the world, every US service and many countries use the H-60/S-70, could be a huge project similar to the NBAI Hornets. Motivates me to purchase FSDS.btaylo24 wrote:Good post Mike,. Made me start my first AI model..

Well I can see it's a helicopter.
, carry on mate. I may have a go myself at aircraft at some point. one of my first models in fsds was a square bloodhound missile LOL.

All you guys do great work. I wish I had a spare minute to learn how to make a/c and scenery. I was waiting for Cannon and Pensacola NAS, beautiful job on those. The Blue Angels look super! Can't wait to see Key West if that is indeed in the works.

Re: What's Left?
I realize I have no clue what I am getting myself into, but just ordered FSDS 3.5 to hopefully produce my real world baby, the H-60 Black/Jay/Pave/Sea Hawk series. One of 2 models we need in AI, the other being the T-6 Texan II. Off to download tutorials.

Re: What's Left?
Isn't there a PC-9 model out there in the Oman package? Wouldn't that be a suitable T-6 substitute for the time being?Victory103 wrote:I realize I have no clue what I am getting myself into, but just ordered FSDS 3.5 to hopefully produce my real world baby, the H-60 Black/Jay/Pave/Sea Hawk series. jetmax, that Friswell model is not a true AI, high on poly's and last time I check no or limited LOD's. I use it right now in Pensacola and Laughlin/Randolph/Columbus. It's also in the Greek trainers package.

Re: What's Left?
With all the Hornet and Rhino activity at NAS Oceana going on, it would be interesting to see that in FSX.
