If you mean about the payware, it was mentioned on Flightsim forums as well as the AIG Facebook page.

acording to a lawyer friend of my mums you cannot have a lawsuit against freeware content unless it infringes on copyright laws then the owner of said material can sue the infringing part not the other way round like the mexican bandit is doing

it wont amount to money but at least you can ban him from blogger and the hosting site hes hosting his homepage and blacklist him on the internet he will also have to forfit any other sites he uses like facebook and he wont be able to apply fir a new isp for a year or something like that if you can get him on multiple charges for copyright infringement then you can apply for a warrant and any internet capible devices can be conviscated and any further internet capible devices can be removed if hes seen up on the net again

I just wanted to drop by and thank all of our friends at MAIW for your support - here in your own forums and on AIG's Facebook page.
One point I picked up in the discussions here that I would like to pick out: Alpha India Group was actually not forced into closure by threats of legal action. The team took a collective decision, after 10 days of trying to resolve things with Salvador, to shut down because of the very real threat his attitude poses to each team member's control over where their own work may and may not be distributed. We had to bring this issue out into open discussion in the community and it is a perverse fact that closing down was the best way to do that.
Obviously, we very much hope that the issue can be resolved in good time and that we will not have to take the further step of removing all of our files from Avsim and Flightsim.
There is actually no risk of AIG breaking up and closing down for good - we are more united over this issue than we have ever been over anything (except our products). The greatest risk - if we cannot secure our intellectual copyrights - is that we become a closed group sharing our work with those we choose to share it with. However, I think there are many steps ahead before we reach that scenario.
Thanks again for your support !
Matthew

Thanks for the clarification Matthew.
We are all connected by this event. It could just as well have happened to MAIW and we can all draw lessons from these events.
I know you will overcome this and emerge stronger than ever!

My foot.
Referring to a post further up, if there are payware sceneries in his package, would it not be a good idea to inform the companies whose work has been nicked?
Yese, it looks like there are some payware sceneries in the package. And if you read the website there are also "3d lights"! IIRC, that's a payware product too!

From what I'm learning at other sites, he's already (apparently) used stuff from AIM, RATS and AIA and there is also word (in the last few minutes) that he may have at least 4 payware sceneries in his "projects".
If he is going after the payware guys too he must not be very smart. They will take legal action on him. I hope this guy gets in trouble for this!

from his blog yesterday
All persons visiting this website and my blog, I am saying that from this moment on AI Traffic Project ICE is no longer my property for personal reasons, the new owner of the blog and website, as well post as the manager of Internet traffic will be Mr. Vittorio (AKA Bigbrother1958), directed by email
mariaferrara1990@tiscali.it from now responsible for this problem lies (or other problems) are in the hands of Vittorio.
Since by public threats of aggression toward me, I'll have to move house and public prosecutor, as my physical and my family is affected, my email accounts will be changed.
To all those who have attacked me, also had asked earlier to offend me and threaten me, which was my version of all this, and to ignore Mr. Matthew Brook version of the problem, even the worst murderer you call me as AIG deserves a trial, and should have investigated before and it was, from this moment I completely ICE boundary AI Traffic, and my priority now is save my life, my wife and my two children, of these (I have no words to describe them and I will not offend) Alpha India Group members, if I have education.

We understand the case between ICE AI Traffic Group and Alpha India Group we are under a legal notice by law. Please respect the ICE AI Traffic Group we want to be fair and were doing the best we can we are not here to ruin the Flight Simulation Community we come here for the fun about the hobby and the copyright of laws. We want to say a big apology of the developers of AIG and all the work all of you have done to the Flight Simulation Community but apparently we have legal law terms that need to be understand and to be continued. A whole community of Flight Simulator, ICE AI Traffic Group urges and ask you also take into account our approaches to solve this problem, and do not make a misjudgment to us, I know that many people support Alpha India Group, and also ask them to listen to us , see also our arguments before issuing a trial, and no longer commit to us and slander all you get threats of disqualification and further complicate the situation and create more bad blood between the two sides, remembering that everything they say can be used against you, you are not guilty until you prove it, all this is in international law, I ask that Alpha India Group punish all who have emailed to our Group with expulsion from their community, so there can be a approach and be able to talk as people, that the benefit of entire Flight Simulation Community, since at no time ICE AI Traffic Group has offended in this way.
Thank You for Understanding,
ICE AI Traffic Group

Boy, that guy swings from all out attack to full blown retreat almost effortlessly.
He should realise that dumping it on somebody else won't save him from prosecution.

Don't see the need for him to move house. I only threatened to report his activities to his ISPs.
Don't think that makes me Luca Brasi - or does it?
