The J (UK) models had deceptive ECM fairings on the intakes (I call them 'shoulders'), just like the USN counterparts. Not sure if the the J models sold to the UK had the DECM gear in them, though. If you look at N models, you will notice that the DECM fairings are much longer, because of wiring harness routing issues between the B and J main variants. The very late-model J's also had the under-intake and under-wing extra antenna, so they were physically indistinguishable from S models except for the slats.
As an aside, I forgot the DECM fairings on my first release J (UK) models, this will be rectified very soon.

To the Phreaking Phantom Phanatics....
I just punched out the v2 F-4C package to AVSIM, 35 models and 77 repaints covering early/middle/late F-4C; the EF-4C WW variant; and even a dedicated F-110A Spectre prototype with 6 AIM-7C RHMs. I am currently painting for the v2 F-4D package, it will put the C-models to shame in its breadth and scope; and I will probably have to break it up into two parts. I am conservatively estimating over a hundred paints, and probably about fifty models. The highlight units will be nearly all of the 184 TFG (Kansas ANG) and most of the 134 TFS (Vermont ANG). Additionally, I will be including most of the historical units that used this aircraft, including the ROKAF and the IIAF/IRIAF.
More to follow, next stop, folding wings.......

Phantom FGR.2.... Other than test aircraft, if an active RAF/RN squadron operated the Phantom, it is painted in these packages; most with multiple-period schemes. The final count is eight aircraft variants, 80 model loadout variants, and 152 repaints; split into four packages. There are no anniversary or specialty aircraft here, all line aircraft only; but there are enough special schemes lying around to warrant an add-on package after I release these, with perhaps a few more option models.
This will be released to AVSIM in the next 48 hours, thanks for extreme patience.

Thanks for all of the nice comments, but please don't forget, these are merely modded from Nick Black's models, they're only about a quarter mine..... maybe the Brit ones are about a third mine, but without Nick's source, I wouldn't be here with these. I am hoping to get all parts done to this standard by the end of the year.

Progress Note....
The F-4Bv2 and F-4Nv2 are nearly done, as is the F-4Dv2. All models were done a few weeks ago, but I am on an obsessive quest to represent most every unit I can find, although I am approaching that detail/sanity threshold; so I will probably release these by the end of August with whatever paints I have done to this point. I think I did something like 60+ paints for the B, and a similar number for the D. I may release some promised squadron packages separately, with some additional models to sweeten them up. J and S models are done but for loadouts, and I am starting the painting for those as well. The J package should be about the same size as the B and D (huge). Nick was good enough to leave me late F-4E source with real slats (not LE flaps), so those got put to very good use on my S model.
I am using my Century Series projects and my F-8 to take short sanity breaks along the way, but I really want to close these Phantom packages out by the fall; and get deep into my own modeling stuff.
More preview pictures in a day or so.

Mike,
Sanity is neither an option nor a requirement. Keep up the good work mate.

I just released the F-4Dv2 models today; six base variants, 45 loadout options, and 100 paints. The package is broken into two parts, and should be available on AVSIM this evening my time (GMT-7).
