Don't get used to that happening frequently. With Marham 93 out of the way, all I am doing is packaging up a couple of AI projects that have been stuck on my hard drive awaiting scenery from other people. My Lightning packs should also be out soon for the same reason. If I don't do that I'll just create a headache for the future with a backlog of documentation and parcelling up to do. By that time, I might have forgotten how everything fits together. I want to clear the decks now so that I can make a more relaxed start on a completely new project, free from unfinished business.

Glad it's bringing some pleasure though.

John

Are these flyable or just AI.

I too am dumping the stand-in F15Es from Lakenheath. Now who do we know that can make us some retro flightplans for Lakenheath and Upper Heyford F-111s.

Patience young grasshopper............................I am working on scenery for UH which will do as a stop gap until ACG release their more realistic scenery.

If you cannot wait for my efforts, there are freeware scenery files at Flightsim and Avsim and also payware option from Team SDB.

I have made a start - here's a couple of screenies.

Stew,

Scooby Doo was the programme I was thinking of. He was always eating, even Scooby Snacks. Didn't comb his hair, lived in a camper van. Now what was that name.....

I see I am going to be busy again now that you have ADE out again. Have I got to download this one until you are happy with the figures?

Thanks for this package John, it looks outstanding!

I am having one problem though; The aircraft are taxiing correctly, but wont take off. They sit on the runway, burners glowing, then a couple of minutes later FS crashes.
Anyone else having this problem?

LOL - no mate you're safe on this one. Dale made a start, so he can check the finished product, then do all the downloading.

BTW - are you still being coy?

I'm getting a FS crash since installing and running the F-111s with flightplans at Lakenheath. Haven't noticed it before but I will try some at Upper Heyford and see what happens. Error marked as 'Runtime error R6025 pure virtual function call'

I used to suffer the 'Runtime error R6025 pure virtual function call' quite frequently. I eventually traced it down to an AI aircraft. Once I stopped using that aircraft as AI the problem disappeared. I think it was due to a texture issue but I never really followed it up.

I haven't installed Johns F-111s yet (too many good things happening here at the moment - I can't keep up) but it could be a problem with them if the problem showed up after you installed them.

Once I get the package installed I play with them to see if they cause a problem on my set up.

Cheers
Del

A few worrying things happening it would seem. So:

1. Giorgio - no, there are 7 LODs in each model.

2. Maverick69 - a small mapping error on the Raven RH Glove. It's also on the ECM and Tanks model but less noticeable. Sorry about that and I'll fix it.

3. SeanG/ChrisB - Ive watched the F-111s extensively both at Upper Heyford and at my test airfield and have not experienced a failure to take off or a PVFC. Chris, could you e-mail me your Lakenheath AFCAD and flightplan and let me know at what time of day the PVFC occurs please? I'll try and replicate it.

John
