When hit 'Post Reply' the new window opens up.
Under the main text window are two tabs - 'Option's and 'Attachments'.
Select 'Attachments'.
Now as you will see from the text you can either drag the zip file from the desktop to the text window or hit 'Add files' and select the one you want to add.

OK I have seen that you have started loading up the aircraft.cfg files so I have removed the earlier posts due to size.

OK, so you are using Nick's Typhoons. So what scenery are you using, and when and where do they bounce? Take off or landing?

OK I have done some checking with the single seater cfg files that you have loaded up and they are the same as the original releases from Nick.
That is the good news. The bad news is that what you describe nobody else sees so this leads me to believe that it might be a scenery issue and if you are using UKMIL ones then I can't check those.

However, what intrigues me is that you say that they 'bounce' in the air and on the ground. What exactly do you mean by that as I took it to mean that the aircraft bounce on the ground.
Also I would like you to check that you don't have UKMIL or JustFlight Typhoons in your system and are getting them mixed in.

OK one thing at a time. Lets forget burners for a moment.

with the orningal euroflighter typhoon they fly normal gears go up on them and the was I put on the geras do not go up on them
.

Have you changed something?

OK. Are you trying to fly these Typhoons, or just watch them fly?

trying to fly them

Ahhhh the mystery is solved.
You cannot fly them. The models and the fde are not designed to be used in this way. They are only designed to be setup to use a traffic bgl and you watch them. This is why the gear stays down, why the afterburners won't light and why they fly strangely.

The question you had about the other aircraft burners were you trying to fly them as well? If so then the answer is the same. The FS AI engine is not the same as the flyable engine. You can't control burners the same as normal planes.

Generally, no. In order to make AI models flyable you would need to almost completely re-write both the .cfg and .air files as well as get the original model maker to strip out a lot of the code that makes AI planes work.

It's a crazy thing to try.

You would need the original model files. For AI aircraft, things like landing gear, flap movement, afterburners, canopy movement, etc. are all animated through triggers built into the model code. In order to restore those things to user control, that code has to be removed from the model itself.

For rewritting the .air file, a program like AirEd is generally used. There is a lot of trial and error involved as even minor changes can have unexpected results in multiple aspects of the aircrafts performance.

The aircraft.cfg can be edited with any text file editor, but again, lots of trial and error involved and drastic unexpected results if you change the wrong setting. If you want to try, read this page: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc526949.aspx

It can be done, but it's a lot of work. And of course, get permission from the original author if you intend to share.
