Just a heads up, in the Ecuador C-130 flightplans it has SEQU airport in there. This airport closed and is now a large park. You might want to change it to SEQM.

I have a question about the Greek C-130's. All of the paints use the R model but aircraft 741 does not have any wing tanks. I was wondering if there was a model I could use for 741 that does not have any wing tanks and is still close to the real thing. (The real aircraft is a C-130H model)

I will use the R model if I have to, but if there is a different model without the wing tanks I would rather use that.

Would it be possible for somebody to have a look at the flightplans for the Kirtland package. The format is bad for aircraft 7. Also I cant find a model "AC-130J" for the C-130AC 16th SOS Cannon package that had two repaints added requiring this model. Thanks in advance.

Regards Paul Day.

Paul,
The AC-130J was released in a pack by Brent and JY back in 2019. Just search for Hurlburt in the Hangar.

Joseph,
Does the L-100 model fit your requirements?

Steve
Thanks for the reply, I knew it had to be in one of the SOS packages.

If you use the B model and change the file to JYAI_C-130H_T you should have a no-tank C-130

I am installing the South Korea C-130's and I have a question. In the download there is a model for the MC-130H, but the cfg file says to use the R model. Do we use the R model or the MC-130H model?

05-183, 05-186, 95-180, and 95-181 have MC-130K in the title line of the cfg file but say to use the R model.

Although the South Korean are designated MC-130K they are more in keeping with a C-130R.
As far as I can see the only extras are a camera under the nose and extra aerials on the roof.

USAF MC-130H

South Korean MC-130K

That's why I used the C-130R model...

Hope this makes sense

Yes, this does make sense. I got a bit confused because the MC-130H model is included with the repaints in the download.

I think I'd intended to use that model initially, going by the desig, but once I'd found some imagery I realised it was not going to suit.
Just forgot to remove it.

I've removed that model from the zip file.

Many thanks

Jim

Jim,

Asdro is after the J models for Algeria and Indonesia, none in the downloads referenced and I don't think any have been done yet.

As far as I can ascertain, the following is the current status:

Indonesia has 3 C-130J-30 delivered, A-1339, A-1340 plus one other which should have been delivered in July; 2 more on order for delivery October 2023 and January 2024.

Algeria has 2 LM-100J-30s, 7T-WJA and 7T-WJB current.

Best regards,

Geoff
