But i thought the flight plans are on GMT time? So if that is the case then 00:00 is 7PM here on CDt which means its still the same day. The two minute flight are what i call RON, where i start my aircraft at its home port, fly to a airport, stay there over night, then fly home the next day, i made this work by doing the 15 minute flights, although i do see the cause for concern, i should make them long so the airplane doesnt confuse itself. Thanks for the help and ideas guys.If i'm not mistaken, I see a couple problems in your flight plan. First is that u didn't change the days over to the next day after 00:00 time. I notice this on the 1st to 2nd day and 3rd to 4th day. Second is u have two 15min flights on the 4th and 5th days which the next leg starts 5 min before the 15min legs end.
They are in GMT but it still goes to the next day. Day 2 in GMT is still day 1 in local time(in this case) but you still have to go to the next day when you write the plans.Flyin Illini wrote:But i thought the flight plans are on GMT time? Ok to make sure i understand this, say i start a flight at 1/23:45, i have to go to say 2/01:45 to make sure the flight is correct. So no matter what, it must go to the next day no matter when it reaches 00:00? So does flight sim realize this and make sure it is still monday when the flightplan says its tuesday>
Yes, once you past 23:59GMT you must roll over to the next day. The game will understand it's the next day but when checking you(the user) should use local time to determine if the aircraft is showing up.Flyin Illini wrote:Ok to make sure i understand this, say i start a flight at 1/23:45, i have to go to say 2/01:45 to make sure the flight is correct. Using your example, if you went to 2/01:42 at Scott AFB to watch this aircraft land, you wouldn't see that aircraft. Because the game would convert it to local time but on day two instead of day 1. You would have to pick day one and the local time to watch it landing. It works like it should in terms of understanding the plans, the problem is the game doesn't adjust the times properly when you manually select a time when you are actually in the game. Make sense?

Hey guys, sorry I can't help with the AI but I have a request of those going to the airshow. I would hope to do a scenery for Scott at some time in the future so, if you are the picture-taking kind, so any photos of the base would be appreciated. Google is good for the building shapes but unless you've been there yourself you never know anything about the vertical dimensions. Shots showing the hangars and flightline buildings are obviousl gold for us scenery designers.

Hey now that i got all my AI problems fixed im going to get back to work on this. I figured last time i made them way to difficult or tried to do that by creating overnight stays but i figured out how to do that a easier way. I also re-did the afcad from google maps to see where all the real parking was. So its a accurate afcad. Here is a quick shot.

KC-135 Stratotankers coming in now...126th ARW...there will be 11 of them. 26 Aircraft in total will be based there.
10 C-21's
11 KC-135's
2 C-9C's
2 C-40's

Hey i got a question to, if i make a flight plan to the same airport from the same airport. And i change the eta to say 4 hours later, will the aircraft just fly around randomly for that time?

well its finally done...flight plans are not 100% accurate but they are all bases they visit and spend time at or do pattern work at so its exetremely close.
Here is three shots of all the aircraft based there including some random transients that were in the pics.

Once i get this all figured out putting a package together, it will be availble for upload.
