OK, so as I understand it. You are using fs9 and the A-10s are untouched.
In which case what we are saying is that the problem is unique to your setup.
This is strange. I will download the Alconbury textures to see if I can see a problem with them, but in the meantime if you don't already have it installed go to
http://aifs.pvdveen.net/download.htm and install ACA2005. This is a very useful tool and check for errors. If you like, you can save the errors, goes to an html file, zip it up and pm me with it and I will take a look for you.

this is strange since you say you havn't modified any of the a-10 folders. the moody a-10 aircraft.cfg should look exactly like this, please make sure they are exact.

Ray,
I found out why the Alconbury textures didn't work for you.
Firstly the models wouldn't have shown up as in the supplied .cfg file for those as each line specifying the model had a slash included i.e.
It needs to be, for most normal installations :-
Also the texture folders did not begin 'texture.' and also the cfg had, as an example,
Code: Select all
texture=\77-0237 AR 509th TFS RAF Alconbury EGWZ
This will work for a specific installation, but not for normal ones.
Now neither of these issues applies to the Moody package, but I thought that I would clear up the Alconbury thing.

wow thanks steve
i really wanted alconbury to work i went every year
i think i should uninstall all A10 and start again
installing moody first, what do you think ?
this is the first time a texture has failed to appear.
like i said the c130's are there so its extra weird.

No problem, Ray.
I am a bit confused as to why putting the Alconbury ones with the Moody ones makes them both show up, but hey the problem is solved.
