Well, I'm out of ideas.
Especially since I just went and downloaded the PAI installer and package myself again. I had no trouble getting the installation to work in FSX under Vista - no need to adjust anything in the package or the afcads I have installed.
That suggests to me that it's an afcad "problem" but I don't have any more ideas for you.
Sorry.

Not quite James, I asked for the aircraft.txt file not the aircraft.cfg file. The reason is that I see that you have altered the aircraft.cfg entries but unless the aircraft.txt entries match the aircraft will not show up.james84 wrote:Thanks guys!
The AI % is already 1% on every plan. The aircraft.cfg file is some posts before this. I got another afcad... just trying it!
So if you post the aircraft.txt that goes with the flightplans.txt file you posted earlier we can either clear that or find it guilty.

Ok! This is where I found the afcad file. Th problem persists both with the default one and Larry Silsbee's scenery

Firebird, as for the Aircraft.txt, I checked if the aircrafts in the aircraft.cfg file matched with the names in the aircraft.txt and they do.

Well, I am stumped. I downloaded THAT package... installed BOTH afcads sequentially and have C17s coming out my whazzoo - actually, 15 of them - with both afcads.
I checked at the following time: Tues 5 Aug 06:55 local/13:55GMT.
I don't have any idea why you are having problems IF you have installed the PAI C17 package correctly.
The only thing that remains suspicious to me is that you said you had 1 C17 from Hickham show up. Shrug. I don't understand why the McChord birds won't do that for you.

James,
If that doesn't work then try downloading and installing ACA2005 from here http://aifs.pvdveen.net/ very useful tool and you will be surprised how many errors you have on your system that the error checker will find.
