If your have an untextured model, then the problem rests with the texture file associated with it. You are either missing the required texture or you have a duplicate texture of the same name in a another scenery texture folder which is cancelling your texture out.
This sometimes happens with ez-scenery objects when they are loaded in different scenery folders, rather being placed in just a single ez-scenery folder like that used by Voz 1.8 and MAIW.
If somebody makes changes to an original texture for a model, it will effect all the models in your sim that use that texture name which are placed lower in the FS sort order library.
It can be a real pain, this is why developers don't like people retexturing there static models and then uploading them in there sceneries, it play's havoc around the sim world and usually ends up with that persons scenery being removed from the download website.
YMES will be uploaded soon to flightsim once it passes the final beta test.

Hi Mark, I was wondering if your version of YMES will be freeware or payware.
I think that it is brilliant from the pics you have supplied and would like to obtain a copy.
I am going to try and do an Avalon airshow setup as I regularly visit this show.
With the exception of the last one they would make an interesting project.
The basic Afcad should present no problems as I have many photos of the layout.
Getting all of the objects may present a challenge though. I will give it a go though.

By the way I managed to find the offending faults on my old version. I just copied the texcxture files from
the YMES folder to the main texture folder and they appeared, though the fire station looks very
incorrect.

Hello,
All of my scenery projects are freeware for the world to enjoy. I see the development of these sceneries as a hobby not a cash cow.
Taking on Avalon airshow is a big venture straight out of the box. I hope you took lots of pic's of the buildings. I wish you all the best with this project and remember there are people that can assist you if you get stuck along the way, you need only ask. Having the afcad correct to scale to start with is the first port of call otherwise your models won't fit correctly. Use Google Earth mearsuring tool to help scale your model dimensions. There is also one more catch, FS and Google Earth maps don't line up when overlayed, so unless you intend to go the whole hog and change everything in FS, keep the differences in mind and keep the runway degree's the same as FS default has them.
Your choice of course.

Very nice scenery.
Ground objects, and very good.
Many are waiting.
I hope to upload soon.

Looking VERY good. I spent some time as a student at the School of Air Navigation at East Sale a few years ago...brings back memories!

I did OTC at Point Cook but it was different those days to now. East Sale has fancy new buildings.

Sorry for the delay in release of this scenery, still awaiting the test nod. There are no AI with it as there are no available AI models that suit the base compliment other than that which comes in the now-aging RAAF-AI or ADF package, which look a bit strange close up.

Hi Mark, just wondering if you are any closer to releasing your
updated East Sale Scenery yet. I would be keen to obtain a copy or try
and test it if you can advise what I should look for. Never tested anything
yet but keen to learn.

On Mark's behalf I can say that it is getting closer, there is just some afcad tuning going on at the moment.

Thanks for the advice Steve. I love flying down under, and can;t wait to see what Mark has
come up with. From the screenies it looks fantastic and a considerable
achievment.
Best regards.

Hopefully won't be to long now but I'm still not placing a date on its release until Steve is happy with it.
If you think this scenery is good, wait to see the updates for RAAF Amberley and Williamtown.
Even impressed me.

Ok Guys and Gals, I've finally cut the strings with this scenery which has been sitting on my hard drive for a while now collecting dust "so to speak". The scenery can be downloaded at
flightsim.com.
We don't have any MAIW AI Aircraft for this base at present time but I'm sure if you look around the usual websites you'll find something suitable to fill it for the time being.
As some of you know we have been working on a MAIW RAAF Hornets package/s but we've had a few delay's with that which has put the package well behind our own expectation, so continue to watch this space.
You will also notice from time to time that I have uploaded updates to other previously released RAAF bases such as Point Cook and Laverton along with a few new ones like Curtin and Scherger.
I believe the sceneries work fine in both FS9 and FSX although most of you are aware of the various freeware tools to convert sceneries such as modelconverX proggy. These some new eye candy in these sceneries.
