There is a very fine line between being a loyal Scotsman and being barking mad. So far I haven't crossed it..................by much!

Joking apart however, I have to admit that the kilt is surprisingly warm to wear....................but I didn't fancy the risk of testing my frosticles

Got to admit, I haven't ever tried a deep fried Mars Bar.

Only wear a kilt for weddings.

A quick update:

I had a 50% success yesterday. I managed to get my car out (emergency being the cause) and got down of the hill.

There endeth my success and my car is now parked on a flyover about 4 miles from the house, where it may remain for some time.

Snowplough turned up on Wednesday..........................Yippee!!!

Snowplough got stuck.....................................boooooo!!

Snowplough went away again and hasn't returned.......................................&^*%"$! *&^%"£$! :x

Cleared the lane of snow before breakfast this morning...boy I was hungry by the end of it. 3 inches may not be as much as in Scotland, but it was the length of the lane and the fact that it is a 30 degree slope that made it back breaking.
