Personally, I've got a folder set up specifically for ADE-type scenery files. That way I can also drop included landclass, flatten, etc.-files in with them without having to worry about which files goes where.

Someone must know where I'm going wrong.

I've installed all the packs from this thread and everything seemed to go OK.

All the traffic appears apart from the UH-60s.

I created a singleton flightplan for one of the UH-60s and it appeared OK.

I've checked and double-checked but I'm at a loss, any help please....

Is it all the UH-60? JGSDF, JASDF and JMSDF?

Have you put them all in one folder with a unified flghtsim[x] file or are they in their own folders?

All in one folder.

Yep it's all of them... :?

Was the single flight plan you complied using the first helo in the list? If so, the problem may be:

The easiest one to miss is to make sure the sequence in the [fltsim.xx] line is 0-eleventy billion. I lost a whole bunch of repaints when I didn't notice that my sequence went from 23 to 25... everything after 23 went missing.

Also double check that the .air file matches the name in the sim=<name of .air file here> line.

If not... Where's the headscratch smilie?

According to ACA2005 everything's OK. Just in case tho' I've done manual search and as far as I can see it's as it should be.

OK, one thing i would check, Jim.

The afcads have parking spots that are quite small but the JFAI H-60 has an mdl size of 16m, I think, which is what FS9 uses (rotor diameter).
If you use Martin's AIAE proggy it will show you the size for definite. You can either increase all the parking spot sizes or alter the mdl size to match the FSX size.

I think that this is the cause and fix of your issue.

The very fortunate side of click saving his files as separate afcad and object filers mean that if you go with altering the afcads you won't lose scenery.

That is actually quite likely it. If we roll back to the Akeno release, we find this:
-->> In order to make the JFAI UH-60s work: Parking radius changed to 9m, parking type=Mil_Combat <<---
Otherwise I would have had to make unique spots for the UH-60s at every location. Now they can share spots with the AH-64s and CH-47s.

TTools can take care of the model radius quick and neat for you. Or you can modify all the AFCADS.

Maizuru (RJBM)

Includes repaints and flightplans for the 13 SH-60K and SH-60J of 23 Kokutai, scenery for Maizuru and a VCPmod for the airfield:

Libraries needed:

Atsugi
Beaufort
GGSE
GmaxShips1 <------ from shiplib.zip
JGSE
MAIW ABO
MAIW Bldgs lib <---first time appearance. From the First MAIW airshow pack
MAIW Cargo
MAIW Humwvee
MG Man Trucks
Parking Lots Large SS
rn_escort_vessels.zip <--- Need the Type 21 and Tiger

There is a lwm2 landclass file included to reshape the harbor. Don't look to close at the ships flags or you may think the Brits have tricked the Japanese into buying up their surplus. Sometimes AI performing a straight in approach slams in to high terrain around the airport. Can't be helped. Anything doing a pattern landing or touch n go practice works fine.

FYI: I hope everyone is enjoying these. I'm going to take a short break from the Japan stuff to work on a package a little closer to home. I'll pick these up again in a couple of weeks.

JMSDF Kanoya

Image

AI Traffic available:

1 Kokutai:
P-3C
Parking: 1K
FPs and Repaints On Ray Parkers webiste

Note: 1 Kokutai had it's parking codes as 2K in the version I downloaded, so that will need to be adjusted. Also, 1 Kokutai has it's flightplans bundled with 7 Kokutai which has been disbanded, so those aircraft should be removed.

211 Kyoiku Kokutai (air training command)
SH-60J & SH-60K
Parking: 211K
FPs and Repaints included

JMSDF and JASDF SAR assets from prior releases also reside here.

Requires our usual buddies for libraries:

JGSE
MAIW ABO
MAIW Atsugi
MAIW Beaufort
MAIW Weapons
Parking lots large SS
St. Dizier burms
