I should have included new .cfg file entries in the download. I'll double check when I get home.

The new fltsim.x is definantly in there, I suspect it was the wording that caused the misunderstanding. What was meant that users won't need to recompile the flightplans, as the names in the provided fltsim.x file are the same as they were in the JFAI version.

Awesome, more of the out of scale/single pilot JFAI Hawks to the AI boneyard. I realize the "J" tank config is different, but will these repaints work with the current ESSS fitted JYAI models?

 The misunderstanding was all mine....
you know that feeling when you get a method of trying to do something and it's 180deg out from what you're really trying to do, well this was one of those times.

Many thanks for the repaints.

No they will not. The ESSS fitted models are mapped to the L model paintkit which has some significantly different mapping locations than the A model that I went with. I went with the A model since the JASDF and JMSDF rescue UH-60Js have the original A model exhausts. So, the choice was, go with A model and have the correct exhausts but no wings, or go with the L model and have the wrong exhaust and wings that are kinda close but also wrong

I may try the ESSS model with I do the JGSDF versions since they went with the L style exhausts.

These are named to work with the Flight Plans from the original set without changing anything. Just delete the JFAI paints after putting these in and they will appear in the sim.
Hi, I downloaded this file, added textures & info into a/c cfg as per instructions, but nothing appears at the SAR bases on the f/p's! Just wondering if anyone else had a problem?

all I've done is added the textures to the Blackhawk file & added the cfg entries, added fp's where needed! I did a test flightplan elsewhere & nothing! triple checked everything but to no avail!

Did you make sure the parking spots at the bases are big enough for the new helicopters?

OK I have checked the original aircraft titles for click's JFAI schemes against the ones for John's model. They are the same. So therefore the original flightplans that click released will still work.

The original aircraft size, for fs9, is the same as the new one. So no problem there.

My thinking is that either you didn't install the original scenery that click posted, hence no parking spots and therefore no traffic, or you still have the original JFAI models installed. This would mean that you have identical fltsim entries and the system will not know which ones to load.

If neither of these theories seem to fit then try running aca2007 lite or aca2013 to see if it picks up any errors.

If you did a test FP at another location and still didn't see anything we can rule out the scenery and base FP. That would lead me to believe that it has to be an aircraft setup problem.

Double check to make sure that the paints are in the folder with the JYAI US Army A model, then double check the numbering in your CFG file.

There seems to be an Eagle thing going around these days: Chitose V2

http://www.mediafire.com/download/0yf36 ... JCJ_V2.zip

Paints for the KRAI/WSAI F-15J and the PSAI alpha Jet E, Flight plans for 201 and 203 Hikotai and an updated version of the scenery Aljude helped make.

Check the included readme file for details.

Very nice!

Edit: Looks like I'm missing a aircraft shelter library somewhere, as I'm not seeing the one in your screenshot :?

It is a custom library made just foe this scenery by Aljude. I will double check the .zip when I get home tomorrow to see if I accidentally left it out. In the meantime, the original version of the scenery found on page four of this thread has it, so you could just borrow it from there and everything should work. I beleive its named "rjcj has" or "chitose has"

Just checked the original zip, it's not included in there. Kind of impressive, 3½ years and noone noticed the missing HAS's

Both zip files has, besides the ADE & OBJ files, the following files:
rjcj_forests_VTPP.BGL
RJCJ_L21_VTPP.BGL
RJCJ_L22_VTPP.BGL
RJCJ_L23_VTPP.BGL
RJCJ747_hangar.bgl

Wow, the original version has 276 downloads and I never once got asked about the missing HAS. Well, let's make that all better now. Here is version 2.1, now with HAS library.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/lw8iu ... J_V2.1.zip

I also forgot to mention, apparently in the readme for the original version and this version, Juniboys Patriot Library is used by this scenery. If you do not have this library, there is an active link for it on page 6 of this thread.
