Actually it was fairly easy to do, actually learned something in the process. I cut pieces of pictures, say a wing, resized it to fit the paint piece. Then dropped the opacity and traced it on the paint layer. Hardest parts was the stretch overlap parts. All in all another way to make painting easier.

I have just uploaded the VAQ-130 growlers to flightsim.com. Search Aaron Haase. The set includes their ZAPPER callsign and a flightplan set.

The aircraft.cfg has VX-23 entries, are the VX-23 repaints available, can't seem to find them anywhere?
Jim
I apologize, I misunderstood this as well as upload the wrong CFG a few posts ago, this will fix the USNTPS Super Hornets.

Is anyone else having a ctd with my vaq-135 growlers at whidbey island? I have a user having this problem, I'm at work and can't check until tonight, they stated that they downloaded the fix on page 15. If its anything, I believe it's a texture issue with one of the aircraft.

Hi Aaron, yep did it to me; after reading this, did a fresh install of your four paints in a test setup with MAIW's Whidbey pack. Using TVB, switched from various aircraft then as soon as it switched to one of yours - CTD. Never had it before with anything; checked all the textures in DXTbmp and they all check out at 1024x1024 - except that you have used 32-bit textures and Mark used DXT3, that is the only difference I can see. All other textures are 512x512 16-bit (lightmap) or 256x256 (prop).
You got me on this one, like I said, I've never experienced a CTD of any type through texture issues - until now
Going to try using the TrafficTools to watch, and take out Marks, just for elimination. Let you know what I get.

Took out the MAIW Growlers, and got a CTD again; converted your textures to DXT3 with mips and.......no CTD

....and to confuse issues even further, I re-converted them back to 32-bit no mips.....and no CTD

Well that confirms a texture issue. If you downloaded this and can, convert all 4 textures to either extended bmp 32 or dxt3

Walk in the park, although the red white and blue intake decals wont be that easy, should have it done Sunday more than likely, only free time ill have between now and then. Btw I think you guys put hornet paints in here for a reason.
