OK Mark has produced a list of textures that the scenery could be calling. $ of them I have on my system but not in either the KNIP scenery texture folder or my global texture folder so i would think that they are not the issue.
There are 6 that I do have in my default texture folder, FS9/Scenery/World/Texture, that you should have. Can you check them :-
taxi_asphalt.bmp
taxi_concrete.bmp
taxi_coral.bmp
taxi_gravel.bmp
taxi_planks.bmp
taxi_tarmac.bmp

If you have all of them then I think we need John to check to see if there are any textures that his VTP/LWM files call, depending upon what Stew is able to find.

Okay Steve,

I downloaded and manually installed the package into my retro (virgin) set-up.

I can report no problems with CTD at dawn/daylight/dusk.

I'm stumped mate.

I checked and they were not present in FS9/Scenery/World/Texture, I had them on FS9/Texture and copied them to FS9/Scenery/World/Texture.
Same result.

Try turning off "extended terrain textures" in the display options and see if that helps any.

Turning off extended terrain textures shows no results.
I am switching back to default scenery till this sorts out.
Thank you all, you have been very helpful.

Very sorry ardethomas, I was having browser trouble and could not get on to see the thread. Here are all the textures I used for Jacksonville. It does look from the earlier posts that you may be missing the 'river' texture to the west side of the base. Load all of these textures into your FS9/Scenenry/World/Texture folder and overwrite if prompted.

I installed the textures, which were not present at the FS9/scenery/world/texture with no luck.
The crash happens when loading terrain on dusk, dawn and daylight. No problem during nighttime!
Thank you for the help!

Hi,

For start my english level is very basic and the associeted lexic to... i'm sorry for that.

From some packages, the textures of the planes are looking different, in low quality. All the painters on avsim or flightsim make works with incredible details in their creations, visibly this is not your strategy.

Some exemples :

The C40s (VR 59) in the old package was perfects in this one they've bad quality.

CAZAUX AFB, the belgium alphajets have good texture and the french are looking bad.

There is probably a good reason for that, can somebody help me to understand ?

Thank you for your incredible work.

Jeanpy

You need to set your Global textures to Massive  .

After some troubleshooting, the apparent cause of the CTD at dawn, dusk and daytime is related to the Jacksonville_VTPP.BGL file.

Ardethomas, the most likely reason for your lockup from a scenery point of view would seem to be a missing or misplaced texture file. The *_VTPP.bgl files define the ground poly textures (some default, some custom) for the scenery area. However you have all the the files used for the scenery and I'm not sure what the issue could be. Here is the VTPP file I have from my system in case yours is somehow corrupted. Other than that I'm out of ideas at the moment but will keep thinking about the issue.

I downloaded and installed the VTPP file without success.

Thank you.

Lets see if that is your problem file. Try removing the Jacksonville_VTPP.BGL file and seeing if it loads up.
If it does then it is a texture that this tries to load that is missing.

Yes, it loads after removing the VTPP file. However there are trees and building on the 12-30 RWY and bleeding of default textures as expected.

That's progress. At least we have narrowed done the cause. So now we can only hope that John can look at the source for the VTPP file to see what textures he is calling. One of those is either missing from your system or corrupted.
