Thank you for your comments! This is very encouraging.
It is almost done.
Joseph29 wrote: 01 Feb 2017, 00:39 That NP-3D Orion AEW from VX-30 Bloodhounds is a current livery?
Yes, it is a current scheme.
petebramley wrote: 01 Feb 2017, 08:50 That AFCAD set looks very complicated !!
Not that complicated. It developed step by step, one at a time when I moved the squadrons to their correct locations.
some additional comments from my side:
regarding the flight plans:
The flight plans provided will not create AI traffic at other airports than NAS Patuxent River.
Instead waypoints over sea or virtual waypoints are used for the AI traffic as departure or destination airports.
AI aircraft will fly to these waypoints and disappear there or they will pop up near these waypoints and fly to NAS Patuxent River.
Or they will simply fly from one of these nine AFCAD files to another one.
regarding individual repaints
I made only one individual HX-21 Seahawk repaint, the one with the "Biofuel" patch and calibration markings.
There are flight plans for 6 Seahawks of HX-21. Aerial images only show one or two parked outside hangars.
Although scramble.nl list 12 Seahawks for HX-21 pictures can hardly be found.
I have not seen any squadron specific markings on the few pictures I have found or the pictures do not match with the serials found.
So I decided to use generic repaints (no modex numbers and serials) for them and only use 6 in total as I do not see a point in hiding them in the hangars
I also started to work on a paintkit for the Rory Kelly CH-53E ands MH-53E.
HX-21 has one CH-53E and MH-53E each.
They can be added later when they will be ready.
There is one item on my todo list left at the moment - a spotting guide
This will be a summary when a certain type of aircraft or a special repaint can be watched,
when it is a good time to observe the AI traffic.

Damn, Hartwig, it looks like you have all the bases covered !
It will be interesting to see if I can get all to work properly in FSX/P3D.

Pax River in FSX may prove a bit difficult. This is the advice from the Poseidon manual:
"Unfortunately, the existing and enhanced scenery is not compatible with FSX. There are some serious flatten issues around the coastline that I was unable to correct with my own FSX flatten file. Moreover, many of the library objects used are not optimized for FSX. While the FS9 scenery returned a very healthy 30 fps at maximum quality settings, in FSX it returned only 7 fps, which is unusable. I was able to boost the frame rate to around 15 fps by using only objects from the MAIW FSX generic libraries, but the flatten issues were still there of course. By all means try it, but remember to convert the traffic files to FSX format".

I assume you mean "where". The clue is in the statement that Hartwig posted yesterday - "The content of the package will be:".
It's not released yet.

I have had a look at the package and I will say that there is quite a lot in it. The instructions are quite full.
Would I would advise everybody to do is READ the instructions carefully. I know that most people LOOK at instructions, but this package is one that in my opinion needs careful following of the doc. Take your time.
If something doesn't seem right the first time please re-read the doc and check everything. If Hartwig can produce instructions in a language that is not his native one then everybody that can read English SHOULD have no trouble following it.
This is my personal advice and nothing more than this. Enjoy the package.

II just finish to read and install the pack. What a great and complete pack.
Following the Instructions during installation, all is going good !! No error. Good scenery !
Thanks a lot for it.
Just a little problem. On the P-8 parking, I've 2 little mountains of green. Perhaps a problem with the flatten ? (I'll try to put a capture)
