Yep still in the works.

The person mothering that particular package, is also mothering another large one at present.

I am indeed, the Swedish package is next on my list for completion though. Good news though, in taking all this time, we finally got an AI model of the Saab Argus which will be a cool little addition to the package.

In addition, our scenery design skills have come a long way since we started in on the scenery for this package, so we have a chance to update and fix some things that we wouldn't have done otherwise.

BTW, while we're on the subject, does anyone have accurate numbers of how many Gripens are currently flying out of ESIB (Satenas AB)? I ask because using what little info I've been able to find puts so many JAS-39A's and B's at the base that it is overflowing with aircraft.

EDIT: I guess I should add that if you're dying to get your hands on the AI Gripen model, it is already available in two of our other packages, not the exact variants that the Swedes fly but close enough in the meantime.

Yeah you could use the released Gripens in place of the dedicated Swedish models.
BUT - Wait, trust me, I did the Swedish Gripens with a wide range of options.

This should give you an idea - Count the number of models released in the Hungarian and SAAF packagers.

Now - In total I produced over 40 different variants (inc Hu and SAAF). Gives you an idea of what is to come.

If I can ever get anything on the Gripen NG (looks like a relatively simple main gear / lower body shape change), I can even get one of them done.

Unless someone has 3-views with x-sections for one already?

Plenty on the NG, just nothing that can be used to model the changes from the original.

At the minimum I would need a bottom view (pref a drawing) so I could work out the doors for the main gear.
The only thing I know for defo - Gear reatracts forward and the wheels rotate 90 degrees.

Is that aircraft just a concept at this point or is there a demonstrator actually flying??

There is a flying demonstrator.

Main gear moved from fuse to wing roots by adding 'saddlebag' housings.
2 belly pylons added.

First couple of 6 (4 x D, and 2 x C) are also under construction for the Thai AF. Delivery start of 2011. Further 6 are in doubt.

Any further orders - India, Brazil, Netherlands, Swiss etc most likely to be NG based

It was some time since I asked this question. Is the package with Satenas and the Gripen going to be finished anytime soon?
MOD: One warning.

Is there?
It's been languishing in limbo for over 2 years by now!

As far as I know it is.
I seem to recall that the problem was that a feature involving scenery had to be overcome. However, I can personally testify that with so many things in the mix sometimes certain things drop from your focus.

My guess is that these posts have made it fall back into in consciousness.

It will get done as soon as I have the time. I have that nice Argus model to use as well.
