On the contrary - the pod special shape (and grey cover material) is THE stealth technology (see F-117 - it is similar to a pod)

Oh - and the pod vanishes from time to time (as it is not textured) :D

Well, you picked a great part of the world to put your airfield. :D

Yeah - Bahamas. A place where MAIW blue collars may work and after the work rest.

OK, looks like all F.2 LODs are done.
Now quickly to T.1 (not a big dealy now) and then weapon LODs, should be really quick now.

O.k....

Two things that should never appear together...

Military Aircraft, and the word cute!

Just a PSA since one was apparently needed!

Well, we may launch a Special Collector's Edition containing a special set of blocks as a bonus

Wouldn't it make air combat easy in real life. Here is the target and this is the range.

Hey Rip, do y'all have a standard color sequence for LOD blocks? I'm starting to work on the P-3 and it might help if I could compare with some of the screenshots.

Thanks :D ,

Just pick any colors you want, the main thing is you can tell which is which.

These are mine colors (keep in mind that number and positioning of LODs is of importance. In recent works I resigned from LOD_300 as this does not too much, so I have 8 LODs in total):

Code: Select all

LODs for NBAI EF Typhoon (F2) are here:
==============================================================
x NBAI_Typhoon_Master_dumb
	Polycount ACM2.5 (~= FSDS3 polycount * 1.8)
1 NBAI_Typhoon_LOD_400	xxxx	WHITE:	_400_BOX or no box
2 NBAI_Typhoon_LOD_200	xxxx	YELLOW	- less poly wheels
3 NBAI_Typhoon_LOD_150	xxxx	MAGENTA - lower poly tail + new engines
4 NBAI_Typhoon_LOD_100	xxxx	L_BLUE	- new fuselage, new tail, new engines
5 NBAI_Typhoon_LOD_075	xxxx	SILVER	- new fuse, engines, wing, horiz. tail, simpler wheels
6 NBAI_Typhoon_LOD_035	xxxx	GREEN	- fuse very simple 4 sided, engines, vert tail (flaps, slats, gear doors removed)
7 NBAI_Typhoon_LOD_015	xxxx	RED	- ultra simple paper model
8 NBAI_Typhoon_LOD_005	xxxx	---	- very ultra simple paper model

LODs of F.2's - READY
LODs of T.1's - READY
LODs of 10 + 3 weapon loadouts - more than a half ready ...
it's getting really close now :smt117
and you know what - I think a future MAIW packages containing NBAI (with some RWAI  ) Typhoons will get very popular, for sure ...

Ain't no doubt about it! :D I may have to sacrifice some commercial AI so I can put the European pkgs in. (small harddrive ya know). I 've got a few Mirages and Tornados flying at Edwards and Eglin. (I've actually seen Tornados flying out of Eglin and I know some of the other guys are over here too) They just look too good not to fit them in somewhere. :D
