Yes of course I understand all that, but what I'm getting at is that you
don't need
two <part> entries for
each part.
Each entry already tells FS what conditions the part should be visible under, if the condition/s are not met, it won't be visible. You don't need one entry to tell it to be visible and another to tell it to be
invisible.
Example:
Code: Select all
<part>
<name>tick18_tank_motor</name>
<visible_in_range>
<parameter>
<code>
(A:AIRSPEED INDICATED,knots) 90 >
</code>
</parameter>
<minvalue>1</minvalue>
</visible_in_range>
</part>
<part>
<name>tank_motor</name>
<visible_in_range>
<parameter>
<code>
(A:AIRSPEED INDICATED,knots) 90 <
</code>
</parameter>
<minvalue>1</minvalue>
</visible_in_range>
</part>
Will do exactly what's needed... try it

No, it's stopped for a while; I need to work on my ORBX airport project first. If anyone wants to progress it, they're welcome to but it is GMax and I know that's a dirty word around here...

Not a dirty word...we're just too dumb to know how to use it!

http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php ... fid=175339
The aircraft is in RAAF colors. Therei s a topic on this forum with flightplan for RAAK Tanker

Thanks for another great model. I loaded into my sim this morning with some very basic F/P's and
it looks great. Am now in the process of making up some more comprehensive F/P's for all 5 A/C.
Hopefully one of our nice painters will oblige us with some paints before too long

Hi Jon
Yes I have those plans but they are all based on GMT so the flights are all at night Down-under. I'm gonna
try and cobble up something a bit more realistic (or at least my take on real

).

Has anybody noticed the animation that is not normally seen on an AI ???
The KC-2, KC-3 & Voyager transport versions are completed model wise and are ready for release, I just haven't got around to it yet.
I was awaiting some more feedback from the RAAF version before doing so. Often people have a comment or two, good or bad or "gee I wish it had". You know the comments. The difference between the PW engine version and the RR engine version are the fuel drogue configeration. The boom has been replaced or removed altogether. The transport version has all fuel drogues removed and essientially looks the same as that used by the commercial airline industry.
The RR engine version uses a different paintkit from the PW engine version due to the engine shape on the texture sheet, so they are not interchangable with each other.
The texture being supplied with these models are basic design and most people will find a need to have increased detail. May be a painter will take up the chalenge and do just that.
The Aircraft base model for the PW engines can be found on Flightsim.com
Some nice person has also added a link to some video footage which is really interesting viewing. Searching my name" Mark Griggs " will find a collection of my recent developments including the Tucano and Joint Strike Fighter.

I did find the anim, although it did help by reading the readme. Very subtle and very nice. looking forward to the paintkit and the other models being released.
