I'm thinking of getting Apache: Air Assault for X-Box 360. Anyone else tried this yet? How about using the Mad Catz flight stick with it? BTW it is available for PC as well. What do you think?

One of my friends has it for PC and is very pleased with it, its on my Christmas list as well.

Just read this thread and thought I would "chime in"....

When I am short on time for an MSFS session I still like to drag out SimCity4 Deluxe and Jane's Fleet Command....

I also still have an XP laptop with MS Arcade running on it.... Asteroids, Missile Command, Centipede, Tempest, etc....

Anyone else here play FIFA 09 or FIFA 11 for PS3??

I bought FIFA 09 used a couple months back and absolutely love it. However I would like it to have the players in FIFA 09 as they are today at the end of this years seasons.

Is this even possible or do I have to get FIFA 11 instead??

It sounds like you are after the sort of data disk that you used to be able to get for Earl Weaver Baseball. (God, that is going back a few years).

I play a whole slew of FB games, and BF1942.

Are there still BF1942 servers running? I used to LOVE that game and BF: Vietnam (best. atmosphere. ever.), but sort of moved on from it years ago.

I think people are still playing it. And to everyone, it looks like I'll be getting a 360 soon. So I'll play that besides my ds, psp, gba, and fs9, and x.

Mike, If your machine, if it is PS3, Xbox or PC have access to the internet then you can undat the squads. But you dont have the new kits and player ratings change to and these dont get upgraded when you have the update from online

My advice would be to waitfor FIFA 12 it is coming out soon and it is going to blow your mind

Yea I've decided to just wait. I was even looking for a used verison of FIFA11 but it won't be long till FIFA12 comes out now.

Plus I rather enjoy using Fernando Torres as my striker when playing Liverpool against anybody else!

I did rent FIFA11 for a week and some things I liked about it, others I did not. The lighting engine in F11 was kinda weird, didn't like it.

I've been following the previews of FIFA12 on line and it does look the business. All the official stuff just came out earlier this month:

FIFA 12 is awsome and Assanssins Creed is great

Just picked up FIFA 12 yesterday, only played one game so far. Gonna take some getting used to, the defensive play is a bit different.

Ye its a bit tricky at first but you soon get used to it. I like the new manaer mode

I enjoy the military strategy game 'Hearts of Iron III', and 'Orbiter Space Sim'.

I've been recently hooked on ARMAII Free, its pretty awesome, but needs a powerhouse computer to run it.

you should check out the full version sometime, I think you can get ARMA II and all its expansions for less than $50 now

yeah I think Combined Arms is less than $30, but I just really don't have the time, and the Free version has access to the multiplayer environment, I just spent about 4 hours this evening being an H60 driver....fun times.

I am trying REALLY, REALLY, REALLY freeking hard not to throw my PS3 out the window when playing FIFA 12. Somehow, EAS has managed to take ALL of the fun out of this game. It is so difficult to play now, I'm not sure how much longer I will keep playing it.

If you are not one of these freak show teenagers that can manipulate 8 buttons at once in a very specific combination, forget it, you're not going to be able to compete.
