Very cool package! Seeing those US-2 planes take off from the water (haven't seen one land on the water yet) is very cool! Quick question though, is the MAIW Iwakuni plans and paints in this package the same as the original MAIW Iwakuni package?

Fantastic job guys

Really appreciated
Just one question.
Am I the only one that can't see the wakes when the US-1 and US-2 taxi for take-off?
Thanks, Giorgio

It sounds like you are missing the effect file which I found in my CalClassics folder.

You just beat me to it Steve, I've just checked the zip and came to the same conclusion. Sorry about that.
Mark, could you possibly add the file to the zip please?
John

Tested in FSX, of course still have some elevation and shoreline issues, but at least my ramp for the F-18s are not flooded. I removed the VTPP and LMW files as I normally do for FS9 scenery, but I am not seeing the textures for the US-2 base/port. All other textures show fine.

LR-1s are all now retro.

There is now another T-4 special in the
Download Hangar celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the JASDF Air Development and Test Command based at Gifu
Since this is a current paint instead of retro this time, I made it as a drop in replacement for the standard paint that was included in the big package.

Some findings in P3Dv31
To really use the scenery in P3D you would have to re-created the shorelines so that the airport layout makes sense.
Aside from that the performance is very well and could surely be improved by converting the FS9 scenery objects to FSX. It's a very beautiful scenery and an FSX version is surely worth the effort.
With P3D version 3.1 LM has finally fixed the age-old FSX issue that FS9 model propellers don't draw correctly in front of clouds / scenery objects. That make a whole bunch of FS9 aircraft usable again (with the slight performance penalty you would expect).
To finally have a float AI is great (may I have a Do-X and a 314 Clipper, pleaaase!!!!

). The Shin Meiwa is beautiful, and only needs to have the prop alpha fixed a bit.
Without fixing:
Fixed (you also see that the prop is always in front of clouds and scenery):

Nice fix on the props Martin.
I'm really not sure about making as much of the package as possible FSX coded as well. I wouldn't know how to re-draw the shore lines for FSX and converting the 4 Shinmaywa models would take 30 or so hours just for that element. It would be more motivating for me to spend the time on something new (as I am doing) rather than repeating the project again for a different sim version. Click would also need to be involved and I'm not sure that he even has FSX.

John, I know that this a closed project for you and click and this is perfectly okay.
But maybe this is something for the community to kick in. I can try to make the shoreline and adjust the airport elevation. Some screenshots how it is supposed to look could be helpful...

Tokushima (RJOS) is now available in the Download Hangar
Home to JMSDF flight training with TC-90 King Airs and a detachment of rescue helicopters. As with the Tsuiki and Iwakuni releases, coastline remodeling was required so it may not work to well in FSX.
On the Iwakuni issues, John is correct. I do not have FSX, so the chances of me being able to update the terrain files are pretty poor. If someone wants to take a shot at it, I can make the project files available.

That would be great. I already worked on it this weekend, but I am still fighting with Sbuilder in combination with P3D...
