JASDF Bases
Re: JASDF Bases
It's a shame the JGSDF area is outdated in Kazuhiro Miyazaki's scenery. Not that a lot of parking space is required though, so it should be possible to put the needed parking spots in there anyway.
Re: JASDF Bases
Thank you for that. I use the FS9 Overland scenery for Naha and knew where the Coast Guard, JMSDF, and JASDF parked, but was sure where the JGSDF parked.clickclickdoh wrote:I don't have a Naha AFCAD ready to go yet, but I can help with letting you know what goes where:
Blue = Japan Coast Guard
Red = JMSDF
Black = JASDF
Green = JGSDF

Re: JASDF Bases
Almost done with the update for Tateyama:

This includes 10 new paints and FPs for the SH-60s based there. The JMSDF SAR UH-60s are already available.

Re: JASDF Bases
I have updated the two Anniversary links at the Nest. So from my perspective it is only the "Royal Flying Club Stow Maries with Sopwith Triplane" package that is missing and the A-10 Update package.Greg wrote:Sorry that's my fault. Martin flagged the 1st anniversary package and some others as missing so I uploaded them to the new server but never linked the files to a download. I'll create them later today.

Re: JASDF Bases
Apparently when I said "almost done" earlier, what I really meant is "I'm about to delete 75% of the scenery and completely redo it because I'm not happy with it even with the updates"
I'm done meddling now and it's in the upload queue for the Hangar.

Re: JASDF Bases
Guys,
Just a little note. When you download the Tateyama zip you may not notice that three of the files are labeled as RTJE and not RJTE. There is nothing wrong there but if you later need to find all your RJTE files, AND you don't keep your Tateyama scenery in a separate folder, then you may miss them. I would suggest renaming the files to RJTE for safety sake.
As I say if you keep these files in a separate folder it will not be an issue.

Re: JASDF Bases
Brent, should I fix that in the original or is there a purpose to it?

Apparently I wasn't drinking enough coffee when I named the project in SBuilder. Please correct my juxtaposition.gsnde wrote:Brent, should I fix that in the original or is there a purpose to it?
As Firebird says, it won't change the function inside the sim on bit, but it will help keep the files organized for people that like to move bits around.
Thanks for activating the Japan Coast Guard and Tateyama uploads in the Hangar gsnde

Re: JASDF Bases
Good news, bad news good news.
The first good news: The Ie Shima and Nagoya Komaki updates are done and just need to be packaged for upload
The bad news: My computer died last night while working on one of the remote facilities for the MCAS Futemna scenery for Johns V-22 project.
The second good news: The hard drive appears to have come through okay and now resides in a new frame. I ran a full backup to an external drive last night just to make sure nothing is lost.
So, maybe a couple days of production time get lost, but it appears that all the project files and paintkits came through.

Good news that you got off so lightly, those sorts of things can be a lot worse.
