John,
Trying to make sure I'm using the proper paint kit for the L-100, but the readme in the paint kit doesn't cross reference the L-100.
Thanks much
Jon

I'm starting to paint more of the Js in USAF service. The Quonset Point examples are finished and sent to the Hangar.

jetrange, just want to say thank you for the 102nd Rescue Squadron C-130 paints! I see the 101st RQS Pavehawks all the time at KISP. I see the 102nd RQS C-130's too but not as much as the Pavehawks.

You're very welcome Joseph. I wanted to pick up where Brent left off as he is busy with other things at the moment.

Read my mind, prior to all your JYAI paints I had just copied the black Raider tail to make Cherry Point's -252 CAG Herc on the HTAI model. Nicely done.

Thank you for these! I noticed there is 1 plane without a flightplan, so I made one for it. I got the destinations from photos on the net.

The plan for 02-1434 is included in that traffic file it is just not with the others. That one is AC#17 whereas the others are grouped together as AC#157-163. I double checked myself as I always split plans up into individual units.
If you do the same then it is very easy to miss something like this.

Steve
AC#17 is an EC-130J 00-1934 not the same A/C at all.
02_1434 was indeed missing from GLANG2
My GLANG2 file is very different to the original as I have modified it over the years removing HTAI/PAI model and replacing them with newer versions. Took me a while to work out the Quonset Point birds but Joseph29 was correct in saying that 02-1434 was missing from the traffic file.

I looked and in this case Firebird was right. There are 2 AC#17's in those plans. One is the Rhode Island C-130 and the other AC#17 is the EC-130J that Steve mentioned.
Now I guess people have a choice to which plans you want to use for 02-1434, mine or the original one.

I will be honest that I didn't see the 2x #17s. If so people would need to renumber one of them or one of them will not show up.
So I went back and triple-checked the file.
02-1434 from the 143rd is at #17. The EC-130J, 00-1934, is #24.
I have been through and checked that there are in fact no duplicate numbers, so the new Traffic_MAIW_GLANG2_JYAI_FSX.bgl supplied by jetrange in this package, to replace the original, is in fact good to go. No renumbering needed.
As Joseph says if you want to replace the supplied plan for 02-1434 to replace his then go ahead.
Hopefully this clears everything up.

Actually the flightplan txt file for Traffic_MAIW_GLANG2_JYAI_FSX.bgl does have 2x AC#17's, but the aircraft txt files does not. Also in the flightplan 00-1934 (the EC-130J) is AC#17 and AC#24 (one is a weekly plan and the other is a 2 hour plan).

I converted the FSX/P3D package for the VMGR-352 into a FS9 pack. Just the aircraft so far, and would like to use the flight plans included but as a flight plan for FS9. Can anyone convert the F/P include to FS9? All credit goes to Jetrange of course. Lewis

If you have AIFP on your system and the you have it set for FS9 then it is a simple as loading the bgl and compiling it. The fact that you have FS9 set as the target version means that AIFP will automatically convert them.
If you want to prove this to yourself then you can also save the file set and look at the first line of the flightplans file. You will see that it says '//FSXDAYS=False'.

Cool. Were can I get that program? I would really like to be able to do conversions for FS9. There are a lot of cool F/P’s that I would like to use. Lewis

It is one of Don Grovestine's excellent utils. I will tell you now that it can do so much more so take your time investigating all its options.
