lol figured you might, got mine from a UK model aircraft mag. I should really write up a list of what as I have as I've got plenty of really good military aircraft 3-views which are ideal for making models from.
As for the floatplane version that's the An-2V and to be honest I can't find a picture of a single one!

Yeah Ben, they've made lot's of niche version, starting from 1949 ...
BTW- I'm curious if you have 3view of one different plane .... mmmmm, QUITE different, I just PM you which one

Any progress on this plane?

Well, cough, cough, the plane still awaits his turn in repainter's shed, actually.
I hope to have some news soon.

OK, I can show some progress now (windows are not the finished ones, btw.).
It's really close to start all the different repaints.
So, all the dirt (and the rest as well) is put on by Mike Pearson

The planes does show its teeth at repaints ...
looks like the can of worms is being opened:
- a weird Hungarian (beer?) repaint

BTW a real thing - if any of you does not believe that An-2 is a fully capable fighter then check this:

What did you end finding out about lights with prop planes?
I remember you saying XML triggers using nav lights didn't work.
Cheers

That's right, nav lights are ON just when beacon is ON.
Landing work all the flight round. No prepush phase for a piston prop airplane, it get alive just when an engine starts.

Yes, but the FS9 piston engined prop aircraft nav lights only work when the beacons do if they are coded in the aircraft.cfg file as beacons. If they are coded as nav lights in the aircraft.cfg file, they only work at night.
Fortunately the lights for turbo prop aircraft work just like the lights for jet aircraft work, so they are not a problem.

OK, An-2 does strike back

:
my Repainter had some real life businesses, just like me, but here's an update of what's going on in the subject:
Polish AF:
Romania:
Russian with para/glider stuff:
I think I can start lobbying for a neat package integration right now:
NATO countries AF An-2s (Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Romania) ?
China PLAAF Harbin Y-5s?
North Korean Harbin Y-5s?
Rarity AF & support An-2s (Albania, Macedonia, Turkey, Libya)?
Anybody?

Looking good Rysiek
You'll have to forgive me, but I still have to do a double-take when I see Poland, Lithuania etc listed as NATO

I should know better, a Czech AF An-26 lands here regularly.

Sorry to dig up an old topic, but what's the status on this model? It looks fantastic BTW, can't wait to see it in my sim.

I think of the above stuff recently, what should be considered as a good sign, maybe
One of the reasons that development was frozen was to wait for all the AI goodies FSX had to bring to us all but ... I don't see any SUCH goodies still...
I thought that everybody AI fan will rush to FSX platform ... but they do not ...
FS9 is an AI kingdom right now and FSX is an environment to master pilot's skills. ACES guys decided to abandon FSX and move toward FS11.
So it is time to make some decisions such as sticking with FS9 AI for longer time maybe ...

Heh guys, you've made my day, I thought that everybody forgot the An-2 project ... that means that I do have to plan to set up my development environment again

Good to hear that it's not been abandoned. FSX offers nothing more than some eyecandy, in the form of a better light/rendering engine (but it has its problems with untextured parts) and fancy reflections etc on UI aircraft, and the animated jetways etc. I'm actually slightly disappointed with FSX, and won't be so ready to jump the gun with FS11.

None of us have forgotten my friend. We simply await the day when you tell us that it is finished. We'd love to get it into some packages. It's such a classic airplane.
