The default airports can have some pretty unusual features compared to real life. I remember the nightmare that was NAS Key West, where I had to move an apron a few hundred feet in one direction to make it match the Google Earth imagery (and then MAIW released their Key West package

).
Also, don't forget that the data you see in FS9 is going on 10 years old now. A lot of things have changed since then, especially if it's still an active airport/airbase.
The few ADEs I do for myself, I tend to keep the default runway data (ie. heading/name), simply because it's easier and because I don't risk fouling up some of the approach data (even if fixing that has become infinitely easier with ADE's built-in editor).

I owe you a beer!
After literally hundreds of hours making and checking AFD's, you learn where to look.
I will let you know whenever I'm close to Milano.

Thanks Giorgio
I'm still stumped on my landclass/mesh problem. Even disabling my mesh & landclass folders didn't do much, so I'm stuck trying to find the sinful file in one of my 500+ scenery entries, which at the moment I really can't be bothered to do...
Edit: Not the first time it has happened either. The same problem shows up if I try to use the landclass included in Matthew Ministry's brilliant Abu Dhabi scenery: It sinks the terrain a good couple of feet, causing endless problems with other airports in the area. I even exchanged a couple of emails with the guy who developed the landclass, and he too was stumped. It even happened on a clean install!

I decided to re-do by myself the flightplans for all the repaints available for IDF, to test my airports.
All the FP by Pete and Ray (thanks), create a lot of traffic and many time this cause some traffic jam on the taxiways and go-arounds.
Here they are if you want to try.
Zip contains:

And here I am again with another strange problem. It seems that Israel is "the land of mysteries"
At the beginning of tests, aircraft land and park normally. Due to the design of the airport, they park in the opposite direction of the parking spot. Well, they never depart anymore from there.
When time of departure arrive, nothing happen and the ETD changes for another time of another day.
Also, after some time, most of the aircraft in landing, take the taxiway and stop at certain point without apparent reason.
The same for the aircraft that takeoff (if parked in the same direction of the parking spot). At certain point, they stop.
This happen with every models, F15; F16; A4, but not all of them have this behaviour.
Someone experience the same problem?
Suggestions, ideas?
Thanks in advance, Giorgio
P.S. the same happen looking at AI with TVB or Toolbox

This problem seems to come from the AFCAD, not from the FP. Perhaps could you open the file with AFX and meke separate files with the rest of the scenery to test that.

This is driving me crazy.
Sorry to insist, but really no one has the problem described above with LLOV?
I tried every type of test, but when i create a new airport deleting the runway from the default airport, it doesn't work anymore.
It seems that the aircraft aren't seen from the ATC, because at the departure time there are no radio call.
Really don't know what I can do.
Any suggestion are welcome

Have you tried to move the default runway (position, length and orientation) without remove it?

I had a quick look last night Giorgio; there were no radio calls to taxi, but they taxied anyway, and then radio calls came as normal. Bit odd that.
