Did you install the 64-bit patch for ADE? If so the FSUIPC ADE - P3d connection will no longer work... The 64-bit patch is not compatible with that feature...

I don't thinK I did. I'm using Airport Design Editor 179 Test. No patch

Well even after patch install ADE would still show ADE 1.79; it is just a .exe DOS installer does not change respective the version number.. The patch would be this file here:

But looking into it; it looks like they never made the link feature compatible with V6 regardless...

That being said I ended up using the 64-bit patch as in the case of some larger scenery objects such as ships in 32 bit they would only show as rectangles instead of the actual object outline in the ADE screen; which you need to see the outlines to overlay AFCADS on to them...

My ADE show me that I am running the 32bit version.

You remember TOs? I'm sure you do.

These guys are providing TO-level directions for you. How to update, yet you respond that you are on a different (and likely) unworkable version.
