click, wanted to consolidate and remove duplicates in my JASDF F-4s files and making sure this latest update covers every Kai to be flying?

There are still two F-4EJ Kai and 7 F-4EJ remaining at Gifu with the Air Development and Test Command. There's will be coming in a separate group, assuming I work up the gumption to try to green digital camo job.

Before I upload these, I am considering re-doing the entire U-125A fleet. Jason King did an excellent job of covering them in 2010, but alas he is not active in the community anymore to keep it updated.
I'm still here....

In my own mind, perhaps.

Those U125A paints are great! Nice work, indeed!

The latest version of Iwakuni has gone to the Download Hangar. This version has an overhauled scenery that represents the end of the massive construction program, moves carrier air wing five from Atsugi with all new paints, and makes the airbase ready for the release of Johns all new F35Bs.

Thus package is a complete replacement for the prior packages.

Many thanks Brent for Iwakuni 2018.

Please don't forget to delete the old CVW-5 AI Traffic (aircraft and traffic files) that comes with the NAF Atsugi scenery.

I test flight from NAF Atsugi to MCAS Iwakuni at 15:00 local time and the US's are there.

Best regards

click, outstanding update and now I'm spending even more time at Iwakuni in the sim. The traffic file for VFA-195 is labeled VFA-192. I see many updated paints for CVW-5 as they got latter Block Supers making the original NAF Atsugi package very old now. The original AJ coded -141 Growlers from Whidbey Island are back at Whidbey now. The 2x UC-12Ms are back in the US and I'm assuming the USMC UC-12W took over. Any plans on the HSC-12 and HSM-77 repaints to stay at Atsugi?

D'oh.

Well, there had to be one mistake.

Are you sure about that? Everything I can find indicates they went to Iwakuni and are wearing NF codes

I just looked up the latest color birds and about passed out. I mean, come on Navy, that's just not right.

From the original MAIW Whidbey Growlers package prior to -141 moving to replace -136. When they did move in 2012, I just changed the FPs, but not the paints to "NF" tailcodes. Sourced Scramble and most of those older BuNo/paints are with the FRS now, your paints are good. The same for the original Atsugi package, most of the older jets transferred over to VFA-192/146 for Super Bug transition(paint request anyone?). Your last Iwakuni pack worked for me in FSX, as long as I didn't look at the coast.

Agree with the CAG paints, now we are back to just about zero color. Do you use gonavy.jp?

Shhh. Don't be sharing our secret. We have to maintain the mystery of how we know...

Can I use the US-2 repaint in the Kobe package in this new Iwakuni update

I don't see any reason why it couldn't be given a new flight plan to operate from Iwakuni. The flight plan it has in the Kobe package already has it fly several times between the Shinmaywa factory and Iwakuni though.

click, based on your ADE skills and knowledge, and I did read the Read-Me, is there anything I can do to help RJOI in FSX? Like add a ground poly just to fix up the shoreline a little? AI seem to have no issues with the layout, and CVW-5 is right at home.

If you have a program that can create a FSX ground poly, that should be able to fix it right up. I did hear from a little birdie though that there might be someone already working on and FSX conversion for the latest Iwakuni revision.

The birdie is tweeting in the affirmative. Fixing the coastline and water in Iwakuni 2018 for FSX/P3D is part and parcel of the F-35B project.
