Post by renee »

Hey Guys, I'm trying to figure out how to stop the pushback of AI craft. Anybody know how to do it. Any ideas etc?

The only true method is to have drive-thru parking using the "plumbing method". This can get very complicated on multi-runway fields, and where parking are in many different areas of the field, and can have unexpected problems. I have used it on some very simple GA airfields, and it works well. It would be near impossible to correct every airfield in the FS. You can do a search for "plumbing method" on this site, and others. You could also try placing a node on the entrance link into the parking space, just short of the parking space perimeter, and with some trial and error, it seems to shorten the push back, but cannot stop it.

Two options, either don't put a taxi link behind the ai parking spot or put a link behind it but put a break in that link so that it is not connected to the rest of the taxi link system.
