EA-6B model

I tried the Ito EA-6B as AI in FS9 and it put a load on my computer with 4 plus normal KADW traffic. I'm aware it isn't AI and will have a heavier presence. Is the Rick Sasala model lighter or am I fighting a losing battle?

Until/if it is released (who knows someone asked about a OV-10 and next thing you know....) the Rick S. model is what I use, but only a few due to lack of LOD's, most "Q" squadrons are 4-5 airframes anyway.

Are there still a lot of Prowlers in use? I know they are being replaced by the Growler.

There's still a lot of them. The Marines in typical fashion will put all their eggs in one basket and operate them until the wonder jet comes on line. I guess the Marines don't understand how to standardize with the Navy. The Navy has 5 VAQ's with growlers according to wiki so they'll be around for a bit.

Comes down to money really, although I had hoped the USMC would buy Super's since the cut of the F-35B and going with more F-35C's.

VAQ-129 will soon transfer all jets and RAG duties to one of the VMAQ squadrons at Cherry Point, NC. So, still in use but not as much as say 10 yrs ago. VAQ-209 will soldier on with the Prowler.

Thats good to hear. If there wasn't alot of Prowlers left I was going to say the AI model should be moved up on the priority list. That way it would be finished before they all get retired and then the AI would not be a retro model.
