Aviation Nation 2011 - Nellis AFB 12/13 Nov 2011

I'm off to Vegas in a few weeks time, and as luck would have it this is on at the same time (pure co-incidence).
Would anyone be able to advise on public transport that would be going to this (most likely on the Sunday).
Thanks

I think there should be something that goes up that way. Even a taxi wouldn't be that expensive from the strip. Be prepared to go through a security check so if you don't get there first thing in the morning, the lines could be very long.

Thanks Mike, that's what I'd been thinking most likely.
Nellis website gives good advice for those going by car, but nothing about public transport.

As a person that lives in Vegas I can say that the bus goes up by there but not far enough. RTC only goes as far as about a mile or two from the speedway. I tried last year to take the bus but nope. However, if you can make it to the speedway, there is a shuttle that will take you on to the base. Your best bet is a cab. Hope this helps. Kind regards, Jeremy

Jeremy,
Thanks for the reply. Taxi looks most likely way of getting there for me.
Looking forward to going; it'll be nice to see something a bit different for a change.

I'm still in Boulder City so I'll definitly be there, don't know which day tho. Was out watching planes yesterday and talked with a guy from Italy who's here just for the show. I've never been before so I can't wait, hope they have room for me to park my 3500 diesel dually.
