What's with these .enc files?

I keep downloading zipped .enc files and can't do anything with them. Any help?

As there are a number of .enc file types to simplify things if you are talking about MAIW packages then it's because they are early packages and they were made using the WoAI installer, so you have to install them using the WoAI installer.

I don't think you're supposed to unzip the .enc files from WoAI style packages. You need the WoAI installer and select the .woai.zip archive, not the .enc file in it.
