Happy Turkey Day! Give thanks to all the folks out there who are very, very far from home in a foreign land doing our government's bidding, whether right or wrong. They're just the foot soldiers at the tip of the spear.
Also don't forget the people who have to work today, airline employees, public safety officers, etc. Not everyone gets the day off with the family.

I suppose that it is just like any other public holiday - not EVERYONE gets the day off.........so yes indeed, thoughts to all of those who must still do their stuff

Our Swedish camp hosts were able to put out some roasted turkey for the small group of US forces here, so I'm thankful.
