RAF AI Question

Firstly id like to say hello to you guys, ive stalked the forums for a while and have decided i should atleast say thanks for all the hard work, so thankyou very much

Anyway, my question, or should i say, questions :D

Are there any plans to do packages for the Sentry, Nimrod, Hercules Tristar and VC10's ? the UK doesnt seam right without them, or are there any avaliable packages elsewhere?

I have the UK2000 Airfields packages for FSX that cover the vast majority of uk airports, including military bases, is it possible to just use the aircraft and flightplans and still get the same intended activity for that area ?

Do the aircraft perform and show in FSX the way they do in FS9 ?

Im sorry for the amount of questions in my first post, they are just questions that have been bothering me lately and my searches havnt returned much information, so i thought who better to ask then you guys :D

Many thanks in advance guys

Firstly, a very big welcome to the forums and to MAIW.

We do not discuss our future plans nor do we "take requests". We're just a bunch of blokes who work away at whatever takes our fancy.

It would be impossible to have a sort of plan, when you consider we are spread throughout Europe, USA, Australia etc.

As regards FSX, sorry, I cannot personally answer (FS9 user here) however there is a dedicated FSX support thread here;

As regards the Nimrod etc, I think there may well be a package(s) over at UKMIL;

Maybe they can fill the gap.

Hope this is of some use.

Hello and welcome!
There are repaints for the different Hercules versions, VC-10s and C-17s used by the RAF on Avsim, look for "Michael Pearson". I've done the flightplans to see them ingame, you can get them in the "Your projects/packages" forum in the "My flightplans" thread.
Don't know if the flightplans work in FSX as I' an FS2004 user, but you can as well try!

Thanks for the info guys and also the quick replys, i must stress that i never meant to sound as tho i was requesting a package and i honestly apologise if i came across that way, no offence was intended, your team does a fantastic job with quality far superior to most "payware" products, so im very greatful to you guys for doing this at no cost to the end user

I shall take a look over on Avsim and thankyou for pointing them out to me
