RAF Northolt to house Typhoons

But only during the London Olympics! Also HMS Ocean will be anchored in the Thames with no doubt special forces and their helicopters on board. Rumours are that RAF UAVs will be used for aerial recon of the Olympic sites operating out of Waddington and at Portland, where the yachting will be taking place, a navy frigate with SBS personnel onboard will be anchored in the bay.

I presume She won't be going too far up as she's a bit of a large unit. We never went there when I was onboard (my final seagoing posting), But I did visit when on HMS London and that was some trip we even had lunch with the Mayor

Ocean is going to be moored at Greenwich according to the BBC.
