jaguar1,
Actually that was not done with a recorder, but is an AI flight. That particular AI flight didn't make the MAIW TopGun package that we did, but I ran across these old screenshots of it today while looking for something else. I can almost hear "Goose" scolding "Maverick" as I look at them.

In truth his actual comments would've been more like F14 pilots drink milk ,did you HAVE to go so far crosscountry aas you slithered by the tower !
For years after Top Gun My favourite was " Cross the other end of the runway @ 10 thousand and the coffee mug is safely on the console "

Mike,
So is the inverted jet something that was designed inverted or did you write some voodoo magic to get it to roll while inflight?

Keith,
Maverick's NBAI F-14 was designed inverted by Nick Black. I just flightplanned his bridge buzz.

Giorgio,
Very nice! It looks like you have mastered the AI carrier air operations.
I really like seeing our 4 ship NBAI F-14 formation model being used.

Very nice shots. I am almost overcome by a lot of memories of the Tomcat.
Thanks!

Matt,
That's Iceman's F-14 from TopGun, but I am not sure what his unit was or if it was even a real unit. Maybe someone else will know.

Matt,
I just looked it up and it's the badge for the USN's VFA-25 known as the "Fists" You can find a writeup on them at the following Wikipedia link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VFA-25
Good luck with your project.
