Scooter CQ action with a CoNA Gladiator thrown in. FSX outstanding freeware AI CVN by Javier. I saw a real world image of the VFA-106 jet at the boat, surprised they took it out after the special paint was applied. Any special light/effect to work the tailhooks?

Lowering the tail hook on an AI aircraft, as seen in my signature below, is achieved with a special, so called "wet model" of the particular aircraft that has a tailhook XML animation included in it.

Sorry,

Thanks Giorgio.

That screenshot is from some of my early testing of "wet" AI FDE's. 8)

Thanks, I was thinking that about having "wet" FDEs. Some other issues came up for the AI birds, I used a flyable T-45 for the recordings. I had all the lights on (not real world accurate) to make sure I covered all the AI animations. Almost everything was checked in the FSR settings, but at times the TA-4's would close their speedbrakes.
