Certainly not a Chelsea fan but wow!! Just watched the game (had to DVR it) and all I can say is first, what the heck was Terry thinking (and why is he their captain?) and second what an amazing effort to sit there and get shelled for 45 straight minutes by Barca in the second half, including of all people Messi missing a penalty, only for Mr. Irrelevant Torres to score that cheeky goal in stoppage time.

What a game!

It was rather good especially Messi missing a pen, I haven't stoppped laughing since. Funniest thing all evening though was Gary Neville's "crisis" when Torres scored, it'll be on you tube somewhere i imagine. Roll on the final, hopefully not Bayern.

Already applied for my tickets for the final. Still haven't come down from the high after the game.

So who all will miss the final because of their cards??

It was funny watching Raul Meireles plead with that Turkish ref after his slide tackle that got him booked. What did he expect??

I am big fan of Barca but i am not lucky because the way they came this far in Champions League.I think they have biiig help of refrees on every match...

I watched the two games from Barça against Chelsea and didn't notice any favouritism from the refs, personally. Terry's red card was dark red, the penalty was deserved and in the first game Barça got penalized with a free kick for Chelsea every time Drogba made a dive (which ironically contributed to the three minutes extra time in which he scored).

You're right but i am talking about previous games against other teams...

Well having just watched the Madrid-Munich game it seems that Chelsea will be playing an away game with 4 players out and Munich will be playing a home game with 3 players out.

That's going to be a tall task for any English football club, let alone a depleted Chelsea.

its also a depleted byern team, they have a few suspended to after lastnight. I hope it doesnt go to penalties for chelseas sake

I have never been the same .

It does seem that this season we were the team that wouldn't die. I was 16 rows back smack in the middle behind the goal that Drogba scored in. It was absolute pandemonium. When the winning penalty went, well you couldn't really describe the scene you just had to see it. We could see the Sky Sports booth to our left and I could see Gullit and Souness going beserk.

I can say this now from a position of strength. I hate penalties as a way of winning a game, especially a trophy. Football is a team game it should not be decided by an individual in a split second moment of unbelievable stress.

Oh and I will admit that knocking Tottenham out of next years Champions League was also very sweet .

So you can probably answer this question for me in that case. Right after Drogba scored the final penalty and things went crazy, were there a couple of fans that managed to make it onto the pitch and start running round without most of their clothes??

I couldn't hardly tell from the television feed but I thought for sure I saw at least one nutjob running out onto the field missing most of his clothes??

Thankfully, for all concerned, I have never drunk enough beer to even entertain the idea of doing that.
