Are their flightplans any good?

And the other upstart, TWAI. How do they rate?

Has anyone any experience of their work?

I downloaded the Summer 2012 plans for BA and Cityflyer from UTT yesterday; they we're both pretending to be in the old MRAI compiler format - it didn't work.....have to use AIFP, so was not very impressed by that.

Don't know about TWAI - do they have a site or are they just releasing through the regular channels?

They're on Avsim, Daryl. Here's an example ...

UTT is releasing several Russian flightplans, I think they are teking over the work of trafficsystem.ru.
Basically, UTT has merged with Globusworld, so the flightplanners should be substantially the same persons.
I love enriching my sim (1387 - growing - traffic files including MAIW, military, governmental and GA traffic) and keeping my flightplans up to date, so I just don't look at who made what. For example, UTT just released some JAL flightplans including the NRT-BOS route with the 787 and I installed it without thinking twice.
AIG flightplans are definitely better, and I just don't hesitate in replacing other flightplans with them when they come out.
I have not learned how to use AIFP and still use TTools, but in the end I see the aircrafts at the airports and this is just what I want.
You can find other good airline flightplans in the AIFP format in Ben Clark's website
http://realbigtree.com/

Ben is releasing new stuff these days, and several of his flightplans have been re-released with the AIG tag too. Also, he makes flightplans for small and newborn carriers, and sometimes uploads repaints by Jurgen Baumbusch (one of the best repainters for civilian aircrafts IMHO)

Thanks CW - that's a better way of packaging, leave them raw; if they are going to package them with the same format as MRAI then they've got to make sure that it works......will pop an email in the post for them
James, AIFP is a great tool - I'm still learning how to use it, but it's worth it to take the time to have a good look and a play :D

Looking elsewhere, it does seem the UTT flightplans lack a bit of polish which would rank them alongside, say, AIG flightplans (Aircraft not ordered by size, lack of optimization), which I reckon most of the users doesn't really care about, as long as the airlines are flying the proper routes with the proper aircraft type at the right times.

I personally see it as an option for clearing out some old and out of date flightplans I have lying around; one such example would be JAL, where the previous flightplan covers the summer of 2009!
