Military AFCADS in FSX

Back after a long time away (no, I wasn't in jail) and I'm nearly finished building up my FSX installation. Tons and tons of civilian traffic has already been installed, via Ultimate Traffic II, WOIA, Ultimate GA, and HTAI (after properly creating new SimObjects folders and registering them in the fsx.CFG, of course!). Now, the one project left is installing military traffic and AFCADs. I remember how fantastically gorgeous the military aircraft models were in fs9 and can't wait to see them in FSX. However, in a decision to dedicate the system exclusively to FSX, I've long since deleted fs9 completely, so installations will be from scratch.

I'm wondering, has anyone made an AFCAD package for multiple FSX military airfileds, or are FSX AFCADs included in the military AI packages (I remember that fs9 AFCADs were often included)? Or, will I be stuck with searching for, downloading, and installing them one by one?

Thanks in advance, and very happy to see that this site is still around, and apparently growing!

The FSX thread will answer most of these questions for you. MAIW packages are still made/tested for FS9, but just a few tweaks are needed to have them in FSX. The biggest issue with using older AF2 files are the elevation/flatten/exclude differences between the 2 sims.

Check flightsim.com. There are a few FSX AFCADs out there for several bases.

Allen L., has done a few FSX AFD's that will allow MAIW to populate, not always 100% correct but at least better looking than some of the older AFCAD2.21 files. He recently released a new Little Rock AFB, AR. on Avsim:

Kelly AFB/Lackland on both Avsim and Flightsim, coded for MAIW C-5 and ANG packages:
